Francis never having been pope, the only bishops who are eligible to vote in a future conclave are those elevated to the cardinalate by Benedict or by prior popes. The 80-year age limit for voting seemingly eliminates from eligibility all or almost all of the cardinals in the latter category. Pickins are slim.
