Yeah, it’s such an attraction that I never bothered to go see it. I’ll drive to Pensacola and see the free National Naval Aviation Museum and eat at Peg Leg Petes and then drive back to Okaloosa Island past the “Indian Temple Mound” without slowing down.

I’ll drive to Pensacola and see the free National Naval Aviation Museum It has been closed to the public since the Terrorist Attack in 2019, except on special days, otherwise you must have a DoD ID card or be escorted by someone who has one.

The DOT even had to make a special provision to not disturb it when they build the new Brooks Bridge.
That will be a traffic disaster for at least 5 years while construction takes place............
