Be careful with Prager. I don’t trust him.
ROFL. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” Or was it “with all your behavior, at least the ones men catch you at”?
Christ just explained to these stubborn ones that nobody except Him fulfilled the human side of the covenant.
Ezekiel 36:26 And I will give you a new heart, and put a new spirit within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh.
Prager is NOT an observant Jew. Period. I know a rabbi who is furious at him for presenting himself as some kind of authority on all things Jewish when as the rabbi said “he knows nothing!” Pornography is NOT acceptable in any way in Jewish law, and “wasting seed” from masturbation is a HUGE sin. A son of Judah was killed by an enraged God for merely pulling out of Tamar so she would not become pregnant and spoil her gorgeous figure.
All of the sermon on the mount was addressed to Jews
I like Prager, but if he wants to focus on behavior, isn’t indulging in pornography a behavior?
.
I did not hear what Prager said. But I was told, that he said it is better to watch pornography, than for a man to cheat on his wife.
That seems to be a very awkward moral or ethical issue to discuss.
Judaism tends to be “behavior-based” while Christianity tends to be “heart-based.”

OK
So what part of you do you want to get to Heaven?
Your behaviors (your actions), or your heart (your thoughts, soul, and being)?
PS, in the OT, God told them your actions cannot get you to Heaven; no one can fulfill the law.
