BELIEF 1: HOLY SCRIPTURES The Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration. The inspired authors spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. In this Word, God has committed to humanity the knowledge necessary for salvation. The Holy Scriptures are the supreme, authoritative, and the infallible revelation of His will. They are the standard of character, the test of experience, the definitive revealer of doctrines, and the trustworthy record of God’s acts in history. (Ps. 119:105; Prov. 30:5, 6; Isa. 8:20; John 17:17; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Heb. 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20, 21.)

Their words about the Bible are largely irrelevant due to their view of EG White.
Keeping the Ten Commandments is not a magic formula to get to Heaven. Gods Grace does that. BUT intentionally flouting Gods Laws seems like a sure fire formula to get an overheated environment for an extended length of time.
Amen 🙏🏻!!!!
What would/did Jesus do? After all, didn’t he set the example?
Well said.
That’s right, Jesus set the best example for us all!
They’re a false religion.
No salvation by faith apart from law.
No assurance of salvation.
Steal the Law from Israel.
Disobey parts of the NT their false prophetess didn’t like.
Add things not for the church.
Don’t need the internet.
They tell you on FR.
Plus they’re like all vegans - they want you to know within 60 seconds of meeting them how wonderful they are for being vegans.
Essentially cultic religious vegans.
That said, there are some nice people deceived by it.
OK, now do Jehovah’s Witnesses!
Have you any views that make you largely irrelevant or are you and your theology pure as the driven snow? I personally don’t put any person on a pedestal including EGWhite or any Pope. We are all sinners and only God is good. Please pray on these things Luke 18:10. peace be unto you.
Another lie. We test Ellen White to the Bible. Not the other way around. She was a little old methodist who helped start the church and kept it on course.
Stay in your cult though. We keep the Bible sabbath. Not the Pope’s thank u very mucy.
—> Another lie. We test Ellen White to the Bible
Please list the teachings of “Ellen” that you rejected.
Please include the plate riser books in your list.
And how do the writings and teachings of your founder and prophet Ellen G. White stack up next to the Holy Scriptures which are the "supreme, authoritative, and the infallible revelation of His will"? Are they equal in supremacy and authority?

Well, she said if people read their Bible, they wouldn’t need to read her. That being said, her book on the life of Christ called “The Desire of Ages” is the most beautiful, touching, riveting, and Bible based book on the life of Christ and his atonement I have ever read........OUTSIDE OF THE BIBLE.
Here’s an idea. try reading her for yourself instead of what others say and quote out of context. Read what she wrote about the Protestant Reformers and how God used them.....mighty men of God whom God used to bring back truth that the church of the dark ages had almost buried. Her chapters on Luther, Jerome, Huss, Wesley, are the best I have ever read on who these heroes for God were. Tyndale, Wycliff, the Waldenses...how God used them.
Read how she describes Rome and the haughty popes, how they buried the truth, tried to keep the Bible from the people. How they changed the sabbath and how they fit prophecy as the great counterfeit.
Read how she lifts up the 10 commandments as God’s standard of righteousness, seen by John in Heaven, Revelation 11 and 15......the ark of the covenant, the tabnernacle of the testimony. Read how she says keeping the commandments save no one, that it is by faith and faith alone. Grace, Faith, Christ and scripture.
Or keep posting lies and misinformation.......who cares.
I worked for a Seventh Day Adventist company for 15 years and never thought they are a cult. They never preached to us, were nothing but loving, and were some of the nicest people I’ve worked for. The ones I knew weren’t vegans and the only food stipulation was we couldn’t have pork or shelled seafood in the facility. It was OK if the employees ordered it but not the company. I also admire their morals and their dedication to service. It was also refreshing that their dress and appearance was conservative (no tats, piercings, revealing or tight clothes).
They are not believers in Christ….not in the way Kesus taught about himself
You could say the same about many false religions.
All have some nice people deceived inside of them.
There is a very good channel on YT, Answering Adventism. You’ll see the double-speak of EG White and Doug Batchelor, who isn’t even a pastor but the spokesperson for them.
Like this:
2 Peter 1:3 nivÂHis divine power has given us everything we need
for a godly life through our knowledge of him
who called us by his own glory and goodness.
Which were in the covenant between who and WHO?
