There are several small towns in S Illinois that that Egypt connotations. Thebes and Cairo, for example. I drove through Cairo last year. The town is a disaster composed of run down buildings. General trashy in appearance.

The etymology of the English words for the days of the week has nothing to do with Christianity.

The week has no connection to celestial events. Days, months, and years do.
Christianity did not originate in the English language. The Bible was translated into English because it was a dominant language. As a result of Christian thought, English-speaking society excelled and prospered.
Why would you attribute pre-Christian linguistic influences to Christianity?

The wrath of God is already present. So, it isn’t hard to predict that wrath is coming. It’s already present. It’s just a matter of when it is going to be revealed. Wrath is the default condition for every human being because the whole world and every human by merely being human is the enemy of God.

The connection with the signs in the heavens is that God already gave these to mankind to set our calendars by. And these signs indicate when He will be paying a visit, or otherwise intervening in human history.

No. But people go down into Hell, or up into Heaven. In the natural realm, people who ignore the force of gravity may put themselves and others in danger. They don’t know the gravity of the situation.

I don’t separate the Pope from Christianity..
I would also add that Christ has zero to do with False Goddess Frigg Day, Saturn Day or Sun Day..
Christ has everything to do with Passover, Unleavened Bread and First Fruits aka Paul’s first/chief importance of the Gospel..
And the Pope Gregory calendar changes those days to its own holy days..
The bible predicts that sort of thing would happen..
And it’s the ‘Christian Pope Gregory’ calendar that does it.

WHY IS TOTALITY LONGER?
By a cosmic stroke of luck, the moon will make the month’s closest approach to Earth the day before the total solar eclipse. That puts the moon just 223,000 miles (360,000 kilometers) away on eclipse day.
The moon will appear slightly bigger in the sky thanks to that proximity, resulting in an especially long period of sun-blocked darkness.
What’s more, the Earth and moon will be 93 million miles (150 million kilometers) from the sun that day, the average distance.
When a closer moon pairs up with a more distant sun, totality can last as long as an astounding 7 1/2 minutes. The last time the world saw more than seven minutes of totality was in 1973 over Africa. That won’t happen again until 2150 over the Pacific.
HOW DO I SAFELY WATCH THE ECLIPSE?
Sunglasses won’t cut it. Special eclipse glasses are crucial for safely observing the sun as the moon marches across the late morning and afternoon sky, covering more and more and then less and less of our star.
During totality when the sun is completely shrouded, it’s fine to remove your glasses and look with your naked eyes. But before and after, certified eclipse glasses are essential to avoid eye damage. Just make sure they’re not scratched or torn.
Cameras, binoculars and telescopes must be outfitted with special solar filters for safe viewing. Bottom line: Never look at an exposed sun without proper protection any day of the year.
It’s like they want to say the Sabbath Day (Saturday) is now Sunday.
End Times: The world is saying that a boy is now a girl, and the a girl is now a boy.
End Tines: They are saying that Good is Evil, and they are saying Evil is Good.
