Wesley J. Smith wrote an excellent article that was published by the Epoch Times on February 5, 2024 on how states that have legalized assisted suicide have almost universally passed new expansive legislation, including the removal of state residency requirements that permit suicide tourism.
For instance, Oregon and Vermont have removed their state assisted suicide residency requirement, permitting people to travel from anywhere to die by assisted suicide in those states. A recent court case is challenging the New Jersey assisted suicide law residency requirement, and an assisted suicide expansion bill in Colorado seeks to permit suicide tourism in that state.
Wesley Smith explains:
Assisted suicide zealots have long sought to similarly impose their death agenda throughout the nation regardless of state laws to the contrary. Indeed, not long after Oregon voters legalized doctor-prescribed death in 1994, advocates tried to get the Supreme Court to impose a Roe v. Wade-type constitutional right to assisted suicide.
Happily, in the 1997 case of Washington v. Glucksberg, the Court instead ruled unanimously that no such right exists in the Constitution.
Removing state residency requirements is turning assisted suicide into a national issue in America. Smith explains:
But euthanasia advocates never quit. After they failed to sweep the country with legalization efforts — despite decades of advocacy, only 10 states and the District of Columbia currently have legalized doctor-assisted suicide — they have now fashioned a new scheme to open the door to hastened death to any adult in the country with a terminal illness.

This trend goes along with the Scandinavian and European ones.
If the end of life medical costs are too much for the family or the government health plan they take the patient off antidepressants, have a doctor declare them so depressed they have no reason to be kept alive, then kill the patient. The family or the health plan representatives declare the situation was hopeless and go along. Might try to convince the patient to agree, after depression from no drugs.
Father Spitzer’s Universe TV and radio show quoted one “The woman was screaming, no, don’t do this to me, I don’t want to die, I don’t want to die” as doctors injected her with a hypodermic syringe.
Now in the US there is more euthanasia than there is youth in Asia.
In the US all you have to do is treat an elderly person for COVID, or keep giving them boosters until they die.

Can you explain to me why the same people say all methods of the death penalty are inhumane, but there are humane methods of euthanasia.
If the soul less ghouls of the left want to nationalize assisted suicide how about we impose a national tax on suicide assistors of $100,000 per suicide. Since it’s a tax “Justice” Robert’s will have to approve it.

Abortion will be back. Democrats made it a primary issue in the 2022 midterms and were successful in doing so. Expect it to return in 2024.
In addition, should a Democrat become POTUS In 2024, and the Senate remain in Democrat control, any new Supreme Court justices will be left wing and pro abortion. Thomas is 75, Alito is 73, Roberts is 69. Any or all three of them could die or retire in the next presidential term. With a left wing Supreme Court, you can bet abortion will be on the docket.
Far be it for me to get in the way of Democrats plan to trim their herd.
And this is yet another reason America is currently experiencing the judgment of God.
He’s trying to warn us to turn us back to Him, just as He did with ancient Israel before the Babylonian captivity. similar social situations of child sacrifice, murder, injustice, sexual perversions running rampant, etc.
God is gracious and merciful and would far rather any man or woman repent and choose life, but people will do what they will do and if they refuse to turn to God, He will let them experience the consequences of choosing to follow Satan and what Satan will do to them.
The only options individuals have today is for themselves personally, to repent and turn to Christ and get right with God because eternity is a long time.
The bloodlust of the left will never be satisfied.
