"Vote For Bush" the man says
its just too bad the owner is up kerrys butt
Will j-fink congratulate him?.........
i'm surprised that kerry didn't have himself helicoptered in onto the field during the world series celebration right when they won.
I think the mayor turned him down.
he did? ROFL!
I wasn't aware Kerry had anything to do with their well earned victory. He isn't even a real fan, whereas someone like Rudy you know is a fan of the yankees.
No. This win was a longtime coming for Sox fans of all political persuasions, we don't need to politicize everything. His GMA line was enough, no one at the parade is going to wonder about his political point of view. Holding a sign would be a Demmie-type move. Let the parade be about the series and the team, period.
I hate to admit it, but that would be the classy move.
ROFL
He doesn't need to. His original GMA comment has already gone 'round the world.
What does this have to do with Curt Schilling holding a "Vote for Bush" sign?
Curt Schilling isn't a slave to the owner. And, Curt Schilling can play wherever he wants...he's that damn good. If the BoSox owner wants to let John Kerry get in the way of his main focus (having a winning team), then the BoSox deserve to lose. If the owner is that petty, then he shouldn't experience any success.
And, I might let the owner know that Curt Schilling is probably THE reason why the Red Sox broke through the barrier. There is something unbelievable that happens to a team when you see a player giving everything he has --including, literally, his blood-- in order to help the team to victory. Now, I don't know the BoSox team in and out. But, I have paid enough attention to the comments of Schilling's teammates to know that Curt's performance had a notable (perhaps even profound) effect on them.
If Curt Schilling has the cahones to say on national TV, on ABC's Gloom Morning America no less, "Vote Bush", I'm damn sure he has the cahones to say that during the parade.
Now, Schilling probably won't. But, it certainly won't have anything to do with what the owner does or does not want Curt Schilling to use.
the owner could toss him off the float
Did the city burn last night?
"I am sure millions of people around the nation have been waiting to see who Schilling endorsed"
As a non-baseball fan who is this "Shilling"? I lost interest in baseball when Dizzy Dean was canned for not being PC. Bring back Falstaff beer and the Walbash Cannonball.
