The media will never concede publicly is that several factors play a key part in Kerry's defeat. 1)Republicans were able to get base voters to the polls in the late evening(which in the past favored Democrats) 2)People of faith voted for Bush 2-1 over Kerry(Hispanic Voters in the South, Midwest and Southernwestern State went for Bush) 3)Kerry did poorly among black voters with no less that 74-78% of the Black Vote(I think Bush doubled his 2000 numbers)4. The military voters turned out a record number of votes from bases in key battleground states and overseas ballots. 5) Bush won over a large segement of Hispanic Voters in Florida and New Mexico.
Is there any way we can arrange to have same-sex marriage amendments on the ballot in each state next time around?
Talk about filthy high numbers for all 11 of those things!
I think when the dust settles, those things are things that really won it for the W and the good guys.
What kind of "source" do you need?
Do a little looking around for yourself. The numbers are well known and easily available!
RR got a max of under 55million votes. Prez.Bush has easily overcome that with what looks to be a 60M+ vote victory.
MSNBC is talking right from the talking points that Jesse Jackson/Kerry Campaign put out last night. Kerry did poorly among blacks in the bible belt and they would never openly admit it.

I may have heard it wrong this morning onthe radio, but the figure that impressed me more was that this is the first time since '88 that the President received a majority of the popular vote.
The msm won't admit it just like clinton never apologized for lying to Americans.
I have some caution about this stat. Its possible Kerry also received more than any past pres. Anyone have actuals ?

It was posted on Drudge, gone now. I think Ronaldus Maximus got about 55,000,000 votes, W has 58MM+, sKerry 54MM+. I'm sure the info is available in a political almanac, but at work and don't have time to research now. I am not an authority.
At 2:30 this AM I was channel surfing the alphabets and Fox and was astounded at how far ahead that Fox had the vote count while leftists like Blather, Brokaw, and Jennings were struggling to be upbeat about the EC vote graphics that they were showing they thought demonstrated it was a closer election. As the hours went by, you could see the distress and disbelief in their faces as the election turned more and more towards Bush. They and the CNN idiots were spewing their same asininities and weird prognostications while FOX was up to date, displayed very clear graphics and made concise and accurate comments about the election. FOX rules!
Kerry received about 90% of the black vote. If you call that doing poorly, I would like to know what's good.
