Media: force a Kerry Form 180 Filing
vanity

During the campaign, several news organizations obtained the complete military records of John O'Neil (SwiftBoat Vets), without his authorization. This would imply that a signed DD180 form is NOT required. Why then can Kerry's complete records not be obtained using the same procedures? Help me understand what I'm missing!

Anyone hear O'Reilly dis the Swift Vets last night again? He was commenting on how they slandered Kerry. This really ticks me off. He's taking the word of a guy who lied to him over many veterans who really are heros and love America.

I'm boycotting Bill.

The media got O'Neils because he gave permission for them to have it. JF Kerry on the other hand would not give permission EVEN IF the MEDIA had asked for it.......which they didn't bother doing.

colduc is correct, the full military records of John Kerry were never released because he hasn't signed the infamous Form 180

Judicial Watch filed a request with the Navy and all they got were a few documents and told to go to Kerry's website for the rest and that another 30 - 100 documents (depends on who you talk to) could not be released without Kerry's permission, Judical Watch felt they should have been given copies of everything that was sent to John Kerry, after all, who knows if anything had been doctored or if Kerry has in fact posted all the documents he has

so no one got the complete military record of John Kerry....

I'm sure O'Neal signed a DD180 in the interest of full disclosure.

Kerry? The name rings a bell, but I can't quite recall in what connection....

I believe he served in Vietnam.
