Jackson Lee urges Perry to 'disinvite' Minutemen (to Texas)

Congresswoman says more workers should be hired to patrol borders

- U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Houston, called for Gov. Rick Perry to ask the Minutemen not to expand militia patrols of the U.S.-Mexico border from Arizona to Texas.

"I urge the governor to disinvite the Minuteman Project. Ask them not to come here," Jackson Lee said Sunday.

The group has posted volunteers in Arizona to alert authorities to illegal immigrants crossing the border.

Organizers have expressed an interest in recruiting in Texas and beginning patrols along the Rio Grande in October.

Jackson Lee said she sees it as the "dereliction of duty" by the federal government not to have improved staffing in customs and the border patrol.

She said she will advocate that money be increased to hire more workers to patrol the borders.

To: I still care

Those crowds that went to see Dr. King back in the day should have been told to go home until the federal government did what it should, right, Sheila?

Help Nature to thin the herd. Eat a liberal

You ever tried to cook one? Talk about greasy and gamey.

Outside of sausage filler or jerky I wouldn't recommend it.

Dad told me just to toss 'em in a ditch and not claim 'em.

Hey, wait a minute! You're the federal government, Sheila. Most of that border
is on your State. You must be one of the derelicts.

Sorry, but (taking my cue from that intellectual giant Randy Rhodes--Air America) I am limiting my diet of libs to "VAGITARIANS!"

If I turn in a criminal, who would object? So why object to the Minutemen turning in criminals?

I find it odd when black leaders ally with the illegals. I guess they see it as a people of color thingie.

A) Mexicans are for the most part not crazy about gringo blacks from what I've witnessed.

B) Why would these black leaders want to ensure that blacks become an obscure minority in the not too distant future?

I think W's most obvious congressional aisle positioning during POTUS speeches butt-kisser speaks from both sides of her boca.

So.. good for stew or chili then?
I'll have to try that.

The jerky didn't work out so well anyway, wound up using it for dog treats.

" let's see her put some of my tax money where her gaping yap is, and triple the Border agents along the Rio Grande. Sounds like a wise expenditure of Homeland Security dollars, to me."

Okay. Hire more BP, the dems get bigger govt., union employees, and these new BP are STILL under the control of a govt. that doesn't want border enforcement. Waste of money.

The govt. needs motivated to want enforcement, throwing more money at it won't help!
