The only reason I know this is because I was listening last night to Carol Miller's overnight show on New York's classic rock station, Q104.3. Carol denounced the statement and said that it belongs in the garbage and I heard her throw out a piece of paper. She also said that she was looking forward to seeing Queen in concert with Paul Rodgers, but she now won't go. Carol is a legend in rock radio and Brian May even recorded a sound bite (I think years ago) endorsing her show.

It's funny y'know, his now departed buddy Freddie was socially liberally and it killed him. BUT - I don't think he would agree, he loved his country.

Brian May is wrong on this.

Very sad. And to think I wanted to give him money because my son is dying to see their musical.

Karl Rove, more prescient than you once imagined. "Cuddle the bombers." Where's my bumper sticker? I am surprised Hollywood isn't getting together a collection for therapy for the poor, misunderstood terrorists.

"This is the road to insanity .... a climate of fear, which, sadly, the USA is already experiencing."

Funny, I don't walk around with the shakes, and I've yet to be searched or questioned. Europe once again sees the U.S. in caricature.

Maybe I'm overdoing this, but there is a kind of arrogance that goes with this, which makes us dangerous....

Yes you have.... and you are....

"The Nelson Mandela Way" = Spend 20+ years in prison, get released and then preside over the destruction of the only stable form of government on your continent. No thanks.

The head hackers were going about their merry work long before the United States of America made the scene... Before the British Empire as well.

I'm afraid the comet-smashing philosophy is to blame !

Uh, yeah, sure.

Maybe the Heaven's Gate cult is re-forming and you could join them. You're obviously a good fit.

Brian May aka Usefull Idiot:"I personally feel that in the wake of 911 an opprotunity was missed.....to seek understanding rather than revenge."That's right Brian, roll over and play dead for the islamofacists. This is a classic example of why rock stars should stay out of politics.

What killed Freddie Mercury was a rock star lifestyle that led to contracting AIDS. He was even more liberal than Brian May.

It is sad to see that many young and not so young will respond to this message and buy into it. Appeasement will never work for terrorists. Understanding what they want will only get more people killed. They want Islam to rule the world. Anything that is different than that needs to be wiped out according to them. That means they want our freedoms taken away as it doesn't follow the hateful rules of Islam.

Wake up and smell the burning flesh!! ISLAM IS A MOVEMENT OF HATE, NOT PEACE!!!

The reality is we are looking at a large number of entire countries of people to whom the American (and English) flag is a symbol of evil. Of selfishness and bullying imperialist aggression

You mean those same people who burn our flags one day and then vote for our countries with their feet at the first opportunity?

The guitarist in a band called "Queen" would be well up the head hackers list, for early death.

Bright lad this May bloke.....

"Freddie was socially liberally and it killed him."

Aren't we being politically correct. He was a headliner at the Greek Olympics.

Rove is once again proven right about liberals.

I've often wondered at this particular self-blaming mental pathology - it is, I think, a means of attempting to maintain some sort of control in a situation where you really don't have any. The idea is "if only we change our ways everything will be better," because its alternative is "they hate us and there isn't anything we can do about it," and that makes the individual feel helpless.

The other alternative, which is "crush your enemies, see them fly before you, and hear the lamentation of their women" is considered by the overly delicate to be uncivilized. It isn't.

You're a great guitarist Brian.  As for your political/social relevance?  You're a great guitarist Brian.
