You can listen online.
"That bears repeating."
Bears repeating, lol.
BTW, does anyone know if that report--from a Colorado Springs TV (KKTV) station--is accurate. According to a previous post, KKTV reported that the bomber was wearing a remotedly controlled explosive device at the time of his death.

HERE'S THE RIGHT ONE:

AP last filed a story on Hinrichs on Monday, in which they identified him. Today, they finally got around to filing a story about him trying to buy ammonium nitrate fertilizer - this is days after the Oklahoma TV station reported it. (NYT had a brief on it yesterday.) These MSM are really sleeping on the job.
Did you catch this about the MSM?
I heard this and also thought, wow, what detachment.
Man, that's too funny.
Sorry I am late with this ping....just came home from work. If you can, please tune into the station mentioned on tis thread. Apparently, we can listen to it online.
Thanks for the ping, del4hope.
Thanks for the ping.
You're welcome.
Finally found a notice about the memorial for Hinrichs. I thought it was supposed to have been yesterday, but it's tomorrow. No obit, so I can't ascertain/confirm family member names; and no time for the memorial is shown, so I guess it's by invitation only. Probably for the best, even in CO Springs.

"What is it with these Colorado suburbs?"
Colorado Springs isn't a "suburb". It's its own urban area several hours away from Denver. This doesn't resemble the Columbine situation at all IMHO.
This father hadn't seen his son since last January and then only saw him for half an hour at that. It's not like they kept in touch constantly. Plus, the father originally said he was "apolitical" and didn't follow any political ideology and now he's saying he's a "conservative"?
This dad was disconnected from his son for quite some time before this. Either the father is suffering from a severe case of shock (most likely) or he wasn't too close to his kid to begin with. If I were him I'd offer "no comment".
Sorry but I just moved from Colorado after being there for the last 8 years. It's a nice state. I take slight offense at your statement... Nothing I won't get over though or hold against you. (o:
I know that Colorado Springs is not a suburb of Denver, so poor choice of words on my part. Let me try again -- Hinrich was from a middle-class town in Colorado, a few hours south of Denver, and he reminded me a lot of what Eric Klebold might have been like had he actually gone to college and hooked up with some Islamic terrorists. Hinrich and Klebold had some physical similarities and the same dead eyes/dead soul look. They also seem to have in common the kind of father who is dispassionate and unconnected from his son (nothing that uncommon in these days and times). I wish the father would shut his mouth, too. I apologize for my stupid statement singling Colorado out -- Ward Churchill made me do it. ;o)
maybe dads son's insurance policy doesn't pay on "acts of terror"? well you know what I mean.
