God rest her soul.

Such courage in those times!

Surely she knew how others had been lynched, murdered, or 'disappeared altogether' in those same times and chose to make a difference regardless.

After Condi's appearance in Alabama this weekend, wouldn't it be fitting if somehow Condi represented the Administration in an important fashion at this funeral?

Ms Parks gave those troubling times dignity and class. I'll never forget her courage. She surely was trembling inside but as John Wayne said ~~ "Courage is being afraid but saddling up anyway".
