Dana Milbank is a lib who failed to mention MOTHRA'S fist stab at stabbing troops in the back in May 2004.

LIARS at the post.

It's possible that the man is ill...early onset dementia or something.

Or late onset of press attention absentia.

Reading this man's history, I can't believe he came up with this on his own.
There have to be threats being made, strings being pulled, and he is but a pawn.

All these news reports are failing to mention that this guy requested the troop withdrawl about a year ago.

Why is this being recycled again and why don't prominent Republicans explain this.

He is not a hawk, but has been defeatist on Iraq for at least a year and a half.

Did anyone know that Murtha was "A decorated Marine veteran" or that John Kerry served in Vietnam? The media never mentions this...

Thanks for that. The MSM is just so disgusting at time. Did you read the AP article (I think it is on the Foxnews web site right now) making this guy sound like a somewhat respected conservative democrat when in fact this guy supported Dean as the DNC chair.

Wow...37 years in the military and 31 years in congress, how old is this guy?

Methinks he's senile.

I dont know what he WAS in the past. All I know now is that he is not a patriot, he is not a "hawk", and that he wants to surreneder Iraq to the muslim jihadists. He is a coward, a liar, a traitor to our troops. Whatever he was in the past (I dont know), liberlism has polluted his mind now.

It doesn't make a dime's worth of difference to me who served where. Everybody's entitled to their opinion on the Iraq war. That's what makes our form of government work. It amuses me to see pacifists who never served themselves pointing to Murtha and saying, "You didn't serve, so shut up". If that's the acid test, why don't they shut up first.

He has never come up with anything on his own. He is a notorious 'yes man' party hack. I think the answer is very simple ... the Democrats cannot afford a successful outcome in Iraq. It would be the final nail in their collective coffin. They will stop at nothing to sabotage the mission, including aiding and abetting the enemy, which they are now doing.
