Who is Mary McCarthy's husband. Why hasn't he come up? We know he is named Michael J. McCarthy because of their political contributions.
One candidate is Michael J. McCarthy, current Washington broadcast lawyer and former director of the National Association of Broadcasters. His bio is found at the link.
Points of interest: Same name, same age as Mary (61), lives in washington, worked in Nixon whitehouse during Watergate era.
I emailed him Tuesday to ask and haven't recieved a response. I challenge all interested Freepers to research this. If it is this guy, it could be big. He knows everybody who's anybody in broadcasting.

It looks like this guy is able to help folks get around the CFR limits.
pretty amazing how search engines can find stuff like that isn't it? :) I never seen that Question Fairy site before, just found it in the search engine looking up McCarthy's Husband
Yeah. Politicians don't have many places to hide with the internet available. I bet they really really despise the internet.
Thank you for posting it!! ;)
Thanks for the help. I found the real guy @ www.matthewmccarthy.biz through a search of the National Association of Landscape Architects for Maryland as a result of a lead from you guys that linked to the name of his firm.
Who says that bloggers don't check their facts?
BTW my screen name is to web essay (bessay) what blog is to web log. By citing sources, we are more credible than the WSM with their secret sources.
Thanks!!!!
Are you the question fairy? if not wonder if shes a freeper... ?
So whats the verdict? Different guy?
Not the question fairy, but thanks for linking me to her so I could let her know the truth. No reason to bug the lawyer guy!
Different guy completely
ok, :)
It's good to see you found out who was who.
If the info is on the net for public view, I usually can find it.
