Ted Kaczynski will have a new cell block buddy now. Like Kaczynski, Moussaoui will enjoy in-cell TV, decent food, an hour per day for exercise, college courses, and all the time in the world to correspond with his fan club.
He deserves the Jeffrey Dahmer treatment..
Federal prisons are mostly for "white collar" criminals. He will not be in as much danger as he would if he was in Attica (New York State Prison), Jackson (Michigan) or Huntsville (Texas).

I hear what you are saying and for the average jihadi I wish we wouldn't even spend the bullet but stretch their neck.
My first instinct was to behead this waste. But after I thought of it, death is too easy for him. A life in solitary has got to be hell on this earth. 6 x 6 brick wall cell,3 meals of bread and water, table, chair, koran and a piece of rope. When he decides he's had enough, he'll figure it out.
As for OBL, it doesn't follow my above thinking but, I would saw his head off with a rusty butter knife on live TV.
For those who think such isolation is a fate worse than death, I say, "For you, maybe. Not for him." Realize that this guy ENJOYS solitude and is essentially living in his own world. Also, he WILL get a Koran and be able to do his daily prayer rituals. Furthermore, not all Supermax prisons deny things like magazines and newspapers, so it will depend on that prison's policies. He has good lawyers, so mistreatment by guards will be minimal. It may not be Club Med, but he will be fed good meals, be allowed to exercise an hour a day, be able to spend his day reading (even if it is just the Koran), and be free from the risk of prison rape. To a loner like Moussaoui, it will be heaven. He won this one.

I find this the funniest part of the whole thing. There was probably some lib on the jusry that didn't want to execute him. But, I think what they really caused was a punishment much more than death.
I like to use an example, in this case (and this is all my opinion), the jusry screwed up. I am talking about Scott Peterson. The jury gave him the death penalty. He will probably die of old age and the sentence never executed. This is in part because on death row he is in his own cell. Had the jusry given him life though, he would have been placed in general population and I suspect wouldn't have lasted very long.
I gather one of the major risks of Supermax prisons is prisoners end up going crazydue to the solitary confinement. Moussaoui is already halfway there anyway, so I look forward to seeing him go full tilt crazy...just as long as they can't parole him for it.

Since we are at war with islam, I firmly believe we need to bomb mecca and any other religious shrine to demonstrate their "god" is powerless and a phoney. Only then, will the mooslims understand their islamic mistake and pursue peace.

In the best of all possible worlds, Moussaoui would be torn to pieces by victims' families. . .after the names of the 3,000 victims had been woodburned over every square inch of his skin.
He should not be allowed a television--he should get the Yuri I. Nosenko no-text no-conversation no-daylight treatment.
In short, he should be entombed--in fact, sensory deprivation would do the trick in short order.
At least we will hear no more of this crap--leaving more time for the Saddam and Ramsey Show.

The fact that he is happy to go to prison for life suggests that he isn't eager to die for his cause. Maybe that's why he didn't complete his mission.

Bogus argument....That threat could be there even if he had been sentenced to death. Probably more so because the appeal after appeal that would have been filed on his behalf would have kept him in the spotlight.
Exactly what I was thnking. General pop. will just give him an opportunity to educate a captive audience of the glory of Islam.
