Michigan has a 12.5% unemployment rate. the Nations is averaged at about 4.5%. Gov. Granholms could not get the Traverse City fast enough when she was attempting to get an environmental Ordnance adopted that would effectively allow the Government to buy up our farmland! But, when Second Chance here in Central Lake was having problems and was going bankrupt she did nothing to help them our and we loss another 50 jobs.

Georgia Pacific could not deal with all of the State and local regulations and pulled out of Gaylord, effectively taking 210 jobs with them - Granholms did nothing to help them!

Granholms closed down a new prison being run by a private company, taking with them another 400 jobs in Northern Michigan.

She has raised very possible fee in the State, business taxes has almost doubled under her, and businesses are leaving the State so fast, no one knows how to stop it. Even when the Republicans in the House proposed eliminating the business tax, she wanted another tax to replace that tax before she would agree to eliminate it, even while the businesses are leaving the State in droves!Look at Delphi, GM, Ford, and Chrysler!

We lost another automobile factory from Japan because Granholms refused to meet with the Japanese in selling them State land for the factory!

Senator Debbie Stabenow simply obstructed every nominee this President put up for the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in our Circuit! She does nothing for Michigan, and follows everything Carl Levin does. Two peas of the same pod.

All of our tax are collected and redistributed to Detroit to pay for their schools, while ours go broke! Illewgally making us pay for two school districts, ours and Detroits!

Granholms refuses to allow us parents to make choices for our kids, like the ability to homeschool them.

They are done in Northern Michigan, neither one of them even comes here to campaign, knowing no one here supports them!

Granhole proved herself to be a political whore in the first debate. The vile look on her face when she dropped the "bomb" that DeVos had an investment in a nursing home company made my skin crawl. Check out the Zoning Enabling Act (ZEA) signed into law on July 1. It's Michigan's version of soviet socialism.

ZEA will:

1)Strip citizens of the right to use their property as they see fit. (Sovereignty)

2) Cancel the common law right of citizens to appear in court and challenge uses of property that are not customary, that trespass or create a nuisance. (Common law)

3) Institute an unelected county bureaucracy, which can’t be voted out of office, that will write rules on how you may use your home, business and land. (Bureaucracy)

4) Allow the politically connected and their friends to get rich while punishing “enemies.” (Punishment)

5) Establish fees, demand bonds and insist on other costs, totalling thousands of dollars, before you will be allowed to use your property. (Plunder)

6) Forbid the right of citizens to join together and, through voluntary agreements, organize contractual communities for lakefront protection, retirement and home owner associations. (Contracts)

ZEA is filled with all kinds of communist goodies, like "...A local unit of government may adopt land development regulations under the zoning ordinance designating or limiting the location, height, bulk, number of stories, uses, and size of dwellings, buildings, and structures that may be erected or altered..."

There's even a clause that will allow bureaucrats to fine and eventually seize private property that doesn't conform to their bureaucratic whims.

Trouble is, our RINO legislature voted for ZEA.

Oh dear. Well, the unemployment rate and the increased crime. The best way would be for DeVos to recruit more companies to publicly endorse DeVos and promise to send jobs to Michigan if he is elected. Stabenow has already begun getting manufactures to endorse her. I saw it on one of the propaganda pieces.
