I am not a Rudy supporter but this is just another hit piece by the liberal MSM.

At least Vitter called an escort service which I do not condone, instead of taking advantage of a naivete intern working under the Presidents desk.

Anyone who reads and relishes this article certainly is not a Reagan Conservative.

Reagan would not go for speaking evil of other Republicans no matter what.

Wow... what a great way to twist a scandal to hit a candidate that the newspaper doesn’t like! And here I thought that most journalists were simply too lazy to be that creative!

To: hardback; All

I know that “liberals” like to use someone like Vitter as an example of “moral hypocrisy” among “family values” conservatives.

I am not one who knows Vitter personally, nor do I know anyone close to him, personally or politically. So, my impression of his situation is drawn from what I have seen while watching him in his political career.

To me, one like Vitter does not represent hypocrisy.

To me, one like Vitter differs from one like a BJ Clinton in that he is one who has struggled against a moral wrong in his own behavior; a moral wrong he did not agree with and which he fought, unsuccessfully, against. BJ Clinton is not a saint and Vitter a hypocritical sinner. BJ Clinton, in my view, never did and does not now, view the behavior he was condemned for as a grave moral error.

None of us live completely up to God’s expectation of us and all of us know our own errors that we struggle against. I acknowledge Vitter as one with all of us in that sense, but I do not see Clinton standing there, because I do not believe he ever did or does now see himself as standing there. Vitter is one who has erred and knows his error. Knowing the error and not being able to succeed against it is not the same, as in Clinton’s case, as not even believing in the error in the first place. Vitter is one who would ask for God’s help. Clinton is one who would ask God why it was he who got caught.

I would continue to support Vitter and wish him success, in his moral life and his professional life.

The RATS in Louisiana are spreading some extremely vial rumors about Vitter that go beyond anything reported in the news. They’ll stop at nothing, and they won’t stop at Vitter. Hang on for more filth from the left wing propaganda machine.

OK, I'm convinced. I won't vote for any of his key supporters.

With all the BS we pull in this country I'm surprised anyone ever wants to run for anything.

What's next? Nose picking pictures?

Of course, no supporter of either Clinton was ever involved in any such nefarious dealings.
