Is this a scam? Is this a scheme to avoid income tax? Is this the illegal practice of group therapy without a license?

My opinion, this is a scam, a confidence scheme to get money from men who have the mental and emotional maturity of adolescents. And 12-step recovery groups are full of prospects. This exposure is a warning.

The article states that there are many prominent men in the Houston who are members of this secret society — and by their silence, they refuse to admit it. I don’t know if they are afraid or ashamed! But it speaks volumes as to their emotional immaturity.

"They had three naked men bring out two chickens that they hit with a hammer."

Bopping naked men carrying chickens sounds reasonable.

I don’t need any help being a man. Particularly from some guy who asks me to take my clothes off. Somebody’s BS meter needs attention.

What’s so scary about hitting a chicken with a hammer?

(I believe that is the first time that sentence has never been written)

Thanks for posting this article.

There's an interesting name connected to this "ManKind Project" - but I'll let Freepers click the link and scroll to the bottom of the first page of the article.

Fascinating little tidbit at the bottom of page 1 of the article:

Travis County District Attorney Ronnie Earle's name was also on the list. When contacted by the Press, he declined to comment.

It’s a cult. Do a search for this and the horror stories for families. If people want out, they get pursued.

Appears they unlawfully imprisoned this man as well.

If you read further into the article, the national spokesperson admits the naked rituals are real parts of this organization.
