I happened accidentally to tune into CNN, which I never actually watch, and wound up watching for a minute or two some idiot featurette which was full of cartoony animations of political figures flexing their muscles, etc, all with the host’s cutesy voice-over commentaries.
CNN was never any good, but THIS, for god’s sake, was ridiculous.
I don’t see how that “term” demeans women? I mean does the term asshole demean men? If Hillary supporters are going to cry every time she gets called a bitch, then I honestly think a lot more people will question if they want a woman for president.
You’re right; all women have bitch potential and if they have a bad day, and are hateful, then for that moment, they are a bitch. I can’t help that Hillary lives up to her potential more often than any other woman in the free world ;).
It seems a little hypocritical to me to say that you can lead the country, but you cry foul when you get called a name....If that were the case, President Bush would never get out of bed. He’d still be reeling from the “shrub” insults thrown by Maureen Dowd years ago.
In my opinion, Hillary has really done a poor job of representing herself as a “strong” woman since this is the second or maybe third time she or her supporters (and we all know where CNN stands) have basically whined and cried over poor little Hillary being called names, or being ganged up against by those mean ole boys (I wonder if she is elected and world leaders disagree with her, will she play the same tactic - those mean ole boys ganging up on her. They said she had the cooties.), etc.

Actually, while I’m not a McCain guy...I think it was a perfectly reasonable question with perfectly reasonable answer.
I had the misfortune to be exposed to CNN during a long wait in a hospital lounge —it was simply amazing—all DNC talking points all the time.
