Oh come on... Let’s not ruin the fun of those who worship in the cult of denial!

Remember, everytime it goes up, we don’t believe it or say it’s only a short-term anomaly...when it goes down, we’re supposed to trumpet it as a permanent change!

Looking for pix of the Big Al Bore with cartoon balloon about his head with a big “Whoops” in it.

I won’t be holding my breath (cough, cough).

The temperature changes they have been looking at are very small. Down in the noise, for those familiar with that expression.

This supports other info I’ve seen about a late rebound of the most recent solar cycle. Sol is supposed to be juicing up again, but hasn’t. Scientists have noted.

HadAT: Upper-air temperatures from weather balloons - Actual measurements from weather balloons clearly shows a 50+ year trend of falling lower stratosphere temperatures. The lower troposhere and surface temperature trends look flat.

I think these guys are going to win their bet....

Climate change sceptics bet $10,000 on cooler world

Russian pair challenge UK expert over global warming

Two climate change sceptics, who believe the dangers of global warming are overstated, have put their money where their mouth is and bet $10,000 that the planet will cool over the next decade.

The Russian solar physicists Galina Mashnich and Vladimir Bashkirtsev have agreed the wager with a British climate expert, James Annan.

The pair, based in Irkutsk, at the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics, believe that global temperatures are driven more by changes in the sun’s activity than by the emission of greenhouse gases. They say the Earth warms and cools in response to changes in the number and size of sunspots. Most mainstream scientists dismiss the idea, but as the sun is expected to enter a less active phase over the next few decades the Russian duo are confident they will see a drop in global temperatures.

Three months with temps never above freezing. I felt damn stupid for moving there.

This stat study should be emailed, blogged about and put on page 1 of every MSM media outlet. It will not be. The liberals are too invested in socialism to do it.

Below zero.
Did I say below freezing?
I meant below zero.
And another 2 months below freezing.
Longest coldest winter in Montana.

If he can’t, I can’t.

This issue is killing me. One the one hand, JM doesn't blow my skirt up, OTOH, I'd rather eat broken glass then allow either of those dems to win.

I'm not happy about it, but (at least at this moment) JM has my vote.

We did that in 1981-1982 winter in Glendive, MT! Below zero from the end of December to the middle of March!

"... All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASA's GISS, UAH, RSS) have released updated data...over the past year, global temperatures have dropped'

What the GISS site actually says:

"The year 2007 tied for second warmest in the period of instrumental data, behind the record warmth of 2005, in the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) analysis. 2007 tied 1998, which had leapt a remarkable 0.2°C above the prior record with the help of the "El Niño of the century". The unusual warmth in 2007 is noteworthy because it occurs at a time when solar irradiance is at a minimum and the equatorial Pacific Ocean is in the cool phase of its natural El Niño-La Niña cycle."

Nah.... Al will just release a statement saying that we’re so lucky he has drawn our attention to this serious problem in time for the citizens of the earth to actually do something about it. He’ll take credit for preventing global warming.
