Texas polygamists may recant, officials say

PHOENIX - Polygamist sect members who were moved to a Texas compound from their longtime homes along the Utah-Arizona line were hand-picked for their fierce loyalty to leader Warren Jeffs, and that allegiance may be a stumbling block for law enforcement, authorities say.

Jeffs, the imprisoned leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, transferred people to Eldorado, Texas, to escape growing government scrutiny on the sect's base in Colorado City, Ariz., and Hildale, Utah, Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard said.

"This was Warren Jeffs' all-star cast," said Goddard, who has been investigating the sect since 2004. "They had the strongest sense of obedience."

Rein in the government? To the point of not being able to prosecute crimes? Like rape? Child abuse? Welfare fraud?

I wonder how many others who are posting as NooBs are multiples? It has amazed us how many are coming out of the woodwork to defend this demonic cult.

See my tagline, also.

Ecellant post! First this poster throws something outrageous out there...” government overreaches on some occassions, therefore .....” The brainwashing that these young children faced is NOT ok under any circumstances. One can have a caution about government and a mistrust in certain instances.

I think this poster does it just to get a reaction and attention.

P.S.

(w0w) I read your post. I had no problem understanding exactly what you were saying.

People are so ‘ready’ to ‘pounce’.
No wonder so many FREEPERS just lurk.

I’ve been amazed, too, and have been taking the trouble to check sign up dates and screen names. It’s been enlightening, to say the least.

“Why aren’t you condemning it instead of condemning those who are trying to do something about it?”

Come on. Doneit was only saying that the ‘concept’ of teaching female children not to trust anyone outside the ‘family’ was a good idea.

This ‘family’ taught their children not to trust the government, police, or anyone else, too keep criminal activity hidden. (assuming that the abuses pan out)

Doneit referred to ‘not trusting’ the government.
Spitzer
Clinton
William Jefferson
Pelosi
Feinstein
Boxer

Waco
Ruby Ridge

Sounds like pretty good advice.

BUT, I didn’t read that DONEIT advocated distrust of the govt so one can rape children.

“But the reins have been broken and no one remembers them any more.”

That’s because they have been too busy trying to petition the government to allow them to marry the horse.

Thanks UCANSEE2. That was exactly what I was suggesting. To jump from that to my condoning of the acts of what I think, based on what I’ve heard and read, are molesters and worse is a stretch.

You know folks, I'm all against polygamy and especially the Colorado City / Short Creek / Hilldale variant. Those guys (and I do mean the guys) are some pretty rough SOB's. Won't bore you with the stories...

But when will the sheriffs in Texas go after the average child raping gang banger in downtown Dallas, or Ft. Worth, or Houston, or....pick a big city.

In those cities, you have, um, "minorities" who don't even bother with the marriage charade. They have three or four home girls and have children with all of them, paid for by the saps...you know, us.

No army of cops goes after them. There are no CNN cameras. On the contrary, their behavior is openly tolerated, even advocated ("maybe they'll settle down").

And we all know why, don't we? Because if the cops did go after them, the "R" word would be shouted immediately.

So it's perfectly normal for black or hispanic gangbangers in big cities to have 4, 5, even 9 or 10 kids....with the mommies all on welfare, and the brats growing up to be just like daddy. Maybe worse.

Guess a bunch of lilly white lechers and their equally pale prides make for a delicious target. Fine. But when do the cops grow a set and go after the other guys, who are doing worse?

“think this poster does it just to get a reaction and attention.”

And just why is it your put your ‘thoughts’ into written words on a public forum?

Then he said the government is “MORE of a problem” than the rape and abuse of children.

“The system again is coming down on this rape cult and you post your agreement with the cult, that they are wise in their advice and that the wrong is that the cult is being interfered with by the state.”

Aren’t you reading a little (a lot)more into this than is really there?

“Is it possible to look at the old version of the homepage?”

Why don’t we do a witch hunt on all posters who have NOTHING on their homepage.

I don’t trust them at all, because each time I get into responses with some arrogant/know-it-all/self-righteous poster, when I go to their homepage... EL BLANKO.

Those are the guys we need to throw out. Afer all, we OWN this place... don’t we?

(hopefully you have a good sense of humor and see my intent)

Unfortunately, in some notable cases, this is wise advice. Absolutely the only thing about this sordid mess I can understand and, to some extent, agree with. Waco, Ruby Ridge, War on Drugs, Corruption at virtually all levels. In many ways the Gov't in it's present bloated and over-reaching incarnation is more of a problem.

These bloated old degenerates feasting on teenage virgins is the real problem. That is real corruption especially (If true) the allegations of having sex (deflowering) with teenagers in the church statuaries. That's reminiscent of some Satanic practices
