Manson follower Susan Atkins DENIED compassionate release today

Posted on 07/15/2008 7:47:16 PM PDT by Lizavetta

Just saw it on AP. She's been hospitalized since March, has only one leg, has terminal cancer and a few months to live, and was denied a "get out of jail" card by the California Board of Prison Terms.

Thank you, Board of Prison Terms commissioners. You did the right thing.

Agreed. She should get a compassionate release when she grants Sharon Tate and her baby a compassionate release. What? Not possible. Rule still applies.

Besides, didn’t our friend Dr. Death (Kervorkian) get a compassionate release and now he’s running for congress? How do we know she really will live only a few more months? How does anyone know how long they will live?

Legally she doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

Thank God. She should die surrounded by ugliness and desolation .... pondering her crimes.

She was given a life sentence … doesn’t that mean until death?

She can have “compassionate release” when Sharon Tate and the LaBianca couple get “compassionate release” from the dirt nap they’re taking courtesy of Ms. Atkins and her fine little buddies.

Good, now end her life using a butcher’s knife to the abdomen. Then use her blood to write “Law and order” on her cell wall.

Hurrah!!

I hope she dies as agonizing death as the mother and baby she killed, and drank the blood of.

I have no compassion for this woman at all.

Dunno, I’m torn between “let her rot” and a release that’s compassionate to the taxpayers in not having to pay her medical expenses for these last few months. Let her die on the streets, not in a cozy bed. But if she stays I can at least call it a decent use of my tax dollars.

She should get the same compassion she showed to Sharon Tate and the other innocent people.

I would grant her “compassionate release” right into a treatment tank at the local sewage treatment facility.

Since we won’t be allowed to give her that final resting place, I would deny her pain meds and sedatives so that she can be as conscious as possible and in as much pain as nature dictates.

But since we can’t do that either, just keep her locked up to the end. Actually, I imagine she’s in some kind of hospital, not a regular prison cell, given her condition??? But under no circumstances should she be allowed the privilege of getting out of an institutional setting, even for her last weeks, considering what she did to her victims.

Cry me a river, you murdering witch!

The day Sharon Tate's child gets treated compassionately by Susan Atkins is the day she should be released.

She should enjoy the suffering she has right now, because it is going to seem like a vacation compared to the suffering she'll be feeling in a few months.

She should be made to watch clips of her belligerent self at the time of hers and Charlies’ trial every day of her remaining life.

My ex wife was/is a bitch. She did some dastardy deeds in her younger years and I knew that one day she’d grow older and her lifestyle would catch up to her. It now has and everyone wants to extend sorrow for here.

Everyone except for me and our 4 kids. Some crap just can’t be cancelled out.

So, you you don’t ever believe in redemption? I can understand (although I don’t believe) how you can want her to stay in jail. But wishing her nothing but horror when she has made the changes in her life, found God, helped others, is dying of a terrible disease. The fact that you cannot show any compassion is very sad to me. But that’s between you and your God.

For once, it seem, conservatives and liberals agree.

She wants a "compassionate release"?

They should allow it...AFTER she writes one million sentences--using the word "compassion"--all of which show that she understands the meaning of the word.
