There is bogus reporting claiming that Armstrong Williams is supporting Obama in this campaign. He's written editorials that make it absolutely clear that he opposes ever political position that Obama holds. He has also said he is voting for McCain.
This "Republicans for Obama" myth is being kept in circulation by the partisan media. Newscorp execs endorsed Kerry in 2004.

Sounds like she would’ve had a brain freeze if I’d told her that I voted for Alan Keyes in the Texas Republican primary.

"probably"
I sincerely doubt it. McCain is much closer in political outlook with the senators you named than Bush. Why would they support Obama unless out of office? They risk losing all support if McCain wins. They have nothing to gain by supporting Obama. I can see why you might believe someone like Snowe would switch, but Orrin Hatch? Please.

Next they will launch the following sites;
www.republicansforhightaxes.com
www.republicansfordefeatinIraq.org
www.republicansforreperations.edu
www.republicasnfor10dollargas.net
By the way, I thought Lincoln Chafee blew his own brains out.

Anyone can vote in the “poll” on “republicansforobama” even without signing up. It’s an opinion poll about McCain’s ads. I believe I’ll vote a few more times that they are “fine.”

Re: “e + they are major league idiots who should have never been given the right to call themselves a Republican.”
Personally, I think they are kids — teens/twenties of all stripes are probably enthralled with the Obama-as-rockstar nonsense.
To: FocusNexus
Only the really, really stupid ones as it becomes more evident with each passing day that Obama is unprepared to be the dog catcher no less the CIC.
McCain is gonna win for better or worse.

Multiple choice — pick one:
These Republicans are supporting Obama publicly, because:
a) they are insane
b) Obama paid them off with 30 pieces of silver and/or promises
c) Obama blackmailed them
d) They hate the country
e) all of the above
F) THEY ARE TURDS

They have nothing to gain by supporting Obama. I can see why you might believe someone like Snowe would switch, but Orrin Hatch? Please. I suspect it has more to do with Bush than with McCain or Obama. Jumping to Obama is a delayed reaction to the current administration. Under other circumstances these people would be more than happy with McCain.
And no Republican in Congress is going to endorse Obama unless he or she plans on changing parties and crossing the aisle. It's easier for those who hold no office to do things like this.

McCain is the last pubbie standing, not too bad for an old guy with “mental problems” eh? In fact, his mental problems are so bad that the young Barack Obama will not meet him for a freewheeling, open, unmoderated debate.
BTW, our only conservative, Thompson started late and gave up early. Get over it.
