I just called my friend that works PT in a bait/sporting goods outlet and ordered the Taurus wheel gun.
Thanks, again....
Glad to hear it, that caliber needs support. People were asking Remington to resume production a few years ago, due to the big splash made by the .17HMR, but Big Green wasn't interested in supporting their own products. In 2006, I bought some spare parts for my Remington 591M from Numrich (bolt head, etc.); I intended to have the 5mm Craig centerfire conversion done using the spare bits and preserving the originals.
I set the project aside for a while due to my packing and moving to a new home. When I recently went to check into it again, I found out about the new Aguila-sourced rimfire ammo. I may still buy the centerfire parts, cases and loading dies, but it's nice to see the ammo back on the market. IIRC, CZ has committed to offering a bolt-action rifle in 5mm this coming year.
