LAKE LYNN, Pa. -- An 85-year-old great-grandmother from Lake Lynn, Fayette County kept an alleged burglar at bay using a .22-caliber pistol.
According to police, a 17-year-old suspect was attempting to burglarize Leda Smith overnight.
That's when Smith grabbed her gun and told the teen that she would shoot him if he moved, police said.
"I had the gun on him before he turned around and said, 'you've had it,' " Smith told Channel 11-News.
According to police, Smith ordered the boy to dial 911 and then gave him some advice.
"Dial 911 and don't attempt to throw the phone at me, or do anything bad or i'll just shoot you," Smith said.
When police arrived, they took the teen into custody.
Charges have been filed against the boy and an alleged accomplice.
Regardless, this is one tough old broad. A lot of people won't be victimized by this punk because of her. For a year or two, at least.
1)Buy it from a class 3 dealer
2)Fill out a Form 4 in duplicate.
3)Get your chief LEO (police chief or sheriff) to sign off the form 4.
4)Submit the form 4, two passport photos, and two sets of fingerprints, and $200.00 to the ATF.
5)Wait about 6 to 8 weeks.
6) If everything is OK, when the Form 4 comes back to your dealer, pick it up and the suppressor. If it's not OK, you get your $200 back.
I just called my friend that works PT in a bait/sporting goods outlet and ordered the Taurus wheel gun.
Thanks, again....
Bitter Pennsylvanians clinging to their guns - bump!
Do you have to agree to allow Feds access to your weapons at any time, or something to this effect? What reason did you give for wanting one (do they ask?).
A Lincoln man is arrested for beating up his ex-girlfriend.
Police say the 24-year-old victim was home alone Sunday morning and received a number of threatening phone calls from Eli Miller, 30, for seven hours. Each call became more violent, so she locked her front door and locked herself in her bedroom.
At 8:20 a.m., Miller came to her home and she called police. By the time authorities arrived, Miller had kicked down the front door and the bedroom door and had hit the victim several times in the head. She told police she was hit so hard she lost hearing for a short time.
The victim told police Miller stopped at one point, put on a ski mask and held a four-pound vise over her, threatening to kill her.
Police arrived and took him into custody for burglary, domestic assault and terroristic threat
Wow — sobering.
How many leftist gun grabbers claim to abhor the concept of a police state...while at the same time they say that we don’t need to protect ourselves and should just call the cops when threatened?
For that to be effective, there would have to be armed police quartered in every house — talk about a police state! Then again, consistency and logical consequences are not the hallmarks of the typical gun grabber.
Harrington and Richards top break.
It’s kinda like the “COPS” series:

I don’t remember the terms on the form 4. I’ll check tomorrow and get back to you as it is in my other safe. As for the reason, I just stated that it was for my collection.
thank you for the ping! Another happy ending!
There is no requirement for inspection. You do have to notify them in writing concerning any change of address.
Yeah, but that’s not the business end.
I'm not that computer literate, but this site claims to handle many different types of format.
