"Watch as the amazing Barack slides into the ash heap of history. Along with his poll numbers."

Absolutely! When Russia first went into Georgia, I commented on how it was bad news for Obama. I mean, it's all fun and games until Russia starts invading Eastern Europe. After that, there is no way the American people will elect a 47 year old one term Senator. No way at all.

He does that until he has an official link for the story

He can get the headline up fast... so at least the headlines up while he’s working on linking to the story.

Simple, it is ALL Bush’s fault. If you put on a mental hazmat suit and jump over there more than half the responses tear into Bush for anything going on all over the world.

If its cutting off gas or oil, that will only drive eastern Europe farther away from them. If they want to increase their influence, they should be doing everything possible to knit them in, instead they are doing the exact opposite of what would work.

Its as if their foreign policy was being written by a manic-depressive control freak.

That's true. I just wonder how far they are going to take it?

Good question, where does the left stand.

Firmly and completely in the corner with Putin.

If you go around the internet and read some of the news sites, then hit the comments, you will find the Russians are doing this already. They are slamming the US with false information, and the left is taking this stuff up and sucking it down.

The left is continually saying things like “Why do we care what happens there?” and “The Georgians killed Russians, what did you expect the Russians to do? Sit on their asses?”

The News Agency TASS is taking it all in stride and their old propagandists are back in action again. I watched some of their news last night. Shameless USSR propaganda up to it’s old spin.

Don’t think so. If I were Poland and or the Ukraine I’d be seeking cover.

_________

I think that would cross a trip line with this administration.

Russia has acted this way since WWII. It their thing, their shtick.

They do this for public as well as private reasons, and by keeping their people riled up against some foreign aggressor, they are much better positioned to take away rights and liberties necessary to maintain political control.

Same play book as before.
