NASA Scientist James Hansen has perpetrated one of the largest hoaxes known to modern man
In the 1970s, while the rest of the world was waiting for “the next ice age” predicted by scientists in the 1960s, NASA Scientist James Hansen and three of his colleagues were investigating the impact that humans might have on climate change, specifically global warming. During his study Hansen concluded that the world needed to brace itself for a cycle of global warming brought on by man-made pollution.
James Hansen is an award winning scientist and author with B.A degrees in physics, mathematics and astronomy. Hanse, who leads the Goddard Institute for Space Studies, has taught at The University of Iowa, and Columbia in New York. He is heavily involved in earth science studies and he is interested in climatology as a sideline.
In 1981, one of his research papers was published in Science magazine. In that paper Hansen concluded that CO2 contributes to global warming and carbon emissions would lead to global warming sooner than he had previously predicted in the 1970s.
Climatologists had already predicted that a trend would be apparent by 2020, but Hansen was saying in 1981 that the change was already occurring and that there would be record high temperatures as early as 1990.
Soon after his paper was published in Science magazine many environmental activists, liberal think tanks, and hundreds of media outlets began predicting the end of the world. They started talking about giant holes in the ozone layer, glaciers melting, terrible droughts due to global warming, world-wide famines, and predicted that World War Three would be fought over fertile, usable land, access to water, and food; they sighted the famine and war in Ethiopia as evidence of Hansen’s theory being rooted in fact.

Hansen is no worse than Bernie Madoff ... and no better. Each time I read about one of these frauds, I think of the other.

No, it is insane and incredibly dangerous. Clearly the First Amendment means nothing to Comrade Hansen and his ilk. Not to mention the equally important requirement for free and open scientific dialog!
I wonder if the next thing will be reeducation camps, under the auspices of the National Civilian Security Force (brownshirts).
And people wonder why firearm sales have picked up... ;-)
No matter the facts,the Left and their media will not stop peddling the AGW hoax.It’s political,it’s a means to totalitarian control.The last election proved the majority are morons so best to grab the gold,groceries,guns and head for the mountains.
Well, here’s some common sense about “Global Warming”. For 30 years we’ve been told the climate is warming and the oceans are going to rise (We’re all gonna die!), but for almost 30 years I’ve lived near the ocean, and every time I go to the beach the ocean is in the same damn place it was the last time I went to the beach!
What ever happened to them deadly ozone holes, anyway?
Nobody ever talks about that much anymore.
They were going to kill us all.
That and the Spotted Owl hysteria. They destroyed many local economies, ruined a thriving industry and drove countless people out of their homes and way of life.
And the media said and did nothing to cover the impact this insanity has had on the families that were driven into poverty. (Dixie, Idaho for starters.)
Banning freon saved us and created a massive boost to DuPont and other companies who bankrolled that scam. ;0)

The problem is, how to stop it before the entire system of our economy collapses under useless regs. and tax hikes on this fraud!? It seems to me that even our pupils are so brainwashed by this farce that facts will not stop them from believing. Sort of like the lemmings who follow the Messiah. Even a bishop today in the RC church warned against Catholics worshiping this new Prez.

No kidding. Spotted owls weren’t smart enough to live anywhere but in old growth forest. I’m a cabinetmaker and I cheer when another tree dies. It is kind of like them putting wolves back into Yellowstone. Now there are wolves all over the damn place. And now their is that endowment to save that swamp rat thing, or whatever, back east. These people with this global warming crap all need to be rounded up and put in one spot. Like Antarctica. There they can pray they were right.

I’m not sure who is actually responsible for this travesty called Obamamania but young children are being indoctrinated into the cult of the “One” as I write. I have to suppress my anger when I see such sickening things taking place. May the Almighty strike him with 7 plagues!
