Wouldn’t it be wild if Mars were found to contain vast reserves of oil and natural gas?

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. Didn't I read that it "might" be possible to create oil from methane using high temp and pressure? If so wouldn't that imply that oil might be forming deep withing the earth?

Just wondering.

It would be maddening to discover oil and gas reserves on Mars. Knowing it was there with no way to utilize it would be incredibly frustrating.
