Yup, that’s one of the problems with living so close to a star.
Better start making plans to move at least a potion of our population out, where the Sun is not so dangerous.
Never mind this global warming stuff, the big threat clearly is Sol.
At least on Krypton, they had a reasonable relationship with Rao, their sun, at least for a while.

Why worry about this, we are going to fry from global warming or die from being treated by arab doctors working for the Feds before this ever happens

Saw that the other day — a depressing movie even with its favorable portrayal of faithful Christians.

If “human civilization” has grown this dependent on electricity, it’s hardly worthy of the name.
(Having said that, I wouldn’t want to be stuck in any urban area when the power goes out.)

Let me guess, the only way to prevent this is by scaling back industry, paying higher taxes, using mercury light bulbs and low capacity toilets, and passing cap & trade & steal?

Assuming we’re all paternalized Obamabots who can’t figure out to do when the lights go out - we’re all gonna die.
