Yup, that’s one of the problems with living so close to a star.
Better start making plans to move at least a potion of our population out, where the Sun is not so dangerous.
Never mind this global warming stuff, the big threat clearly is Sol.
At least on Krypton, they had a reasonable relationship with Rao, their sun, at least for a while.

If “human civilization” has grown this dependent on electricity, it’s hardly worthy of the name.
(Having said that, I wouldn’t want to be stuck in any urban area when the power goes out.)
