Interesting thought - a friend of mine works in a gov’t office (contract I think) and they have had a few invites to a few of the WH parties. No one took up the offer of the invites. That cracked me up.

Freaking a-holes!!! - that was our stuff, NOT theirs to play with and mess up as they saw fit. What next - let their kids "decorate" on priceless oil paintings with crayons and watercolors??!!

 

If they really wanted to get any "local community groups" involved, they could have had them MAKE some ornaments from scratch and submit those.
