Yep, really sorry to hear that, I know you are proud that he would stick it out in one of the toughest neighborhoods in Detroit, we’d all be proud to have a dad like that. I’d also say that he will be proud of his son from high above, as I have known you a great Patriot on Free Republic!

Please accept my deepest sympathies and prayers. My dear father passed away in April of this year at the age of 86. He was a very proud WWII Veteran and loved his country and family beyond measure.
I am very sorry for your loss.
