A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Alaska shows Republican Joe Miller with 35% support and Murkowski, the incumbent senator he defeated in the states GOP Primary now running as a write-in candidate, with 34% of the vote. Democrat Scott McAdams runs third with 27%. One percent (1%) prefers another candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The race remains Solid Republican in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings because if Murkowski wins she is expected to caucus with the GOP in the Senate.

It would be something if the ‘Rat were to finish in third place.
There has not been accurate polling in Ak for many years.
Telephohe polling is very skewed due to the bad habit of most alaskans just hanging up on pollsters.
Dunno... whoevers performing the polls must have their finger(s) on the scales.. unless theirs hanky panky in the absentee mailing..
"Its not who votes but who counts the votes that counts"- Joseph Stalin..
done....
come on people.....this is the election of our lives right now....we have got to stop bama...
this crap is right out of the rat/mafia play book....
don't let it happen people....
this time of year, all Alaskans have is tv....
money bomb whoever can....donate to Fr and then donate to Joe.....
the polls are all trending this way.
Frankly, the Senate may be slipping from our grasp (don’t really consider her Republican).
But, the polls were way off in the primaries and honestly we may come up with even more than 10 in the Senate.
Regardless, I am very confident we will take back the House. That’s almost a done deal.
This poll did not include Lisa as an option, so it likely is pretty accurate.
People had to volunteer that they would vote for her.
That said, regardless....wouldn’t be happy if she won, but at least the Democrat is way behind.
I don't know what some freepers expect of these young guns....they are not career cheats and politicians like Murkowski.....they are going to mess up ...
he needs money.....
stop the loser attitude.....!!!
Thanks paudio for the topic and link to Joe Miller’s campaign website.
It is going to get even dirtier before its over. Lisa and the dems have pulled out all the stops to keep us from having a conservative senator in Washington. Lisa picked up another 800K from the natives via their corporations. They know she will keep their non competitive contract status intact. So it looks like natives, democrats and their unions are solidly behind Lisa. That’s an evil triumvirate to overcome. What disgusts me is that they have supporters who call themselves republicans. I am done with the republican party if this witch pulls off a victory or gives it to the democratic socialist. As Dennis Prager says, this is a moment of clarity for Alaska.
Oh dear God. Murkowski *is* evil. I hope Miller’s team knows how to fight. This senate seat has to go to him. She lost the primary and she’s in it for all the wrong reasons. I find this very upsetting. Thanks for replying to me.
I’m trying very hard to remain calm.
Thanks for replying.
That party doesn’t exist. Yet.
What’s the deal with the “email scandal?”
Saying you support Murkowski and going through the trouble to write her name in on the ballot without screwing it up are two different things. I think Miller wins and it isn’t close.
