AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

“I don’t know what it is, but it offends me” .... Well, in fairness, I do feel the same way about Shelia Jackson Lee, Maxine Waters, Barbara Boxer, Lisa MurCOWski, Harry Reid, Chris Coons, Obammer, etc. No clue what these things that are impersonating humans are...but they do offend me so.

NCAA should be having press releases. They have the last word and are letting this get out of control. Why the FBI is involved is crazy! This has absolutely nothing to do with any federal authority. I’ll betcha 0bamadinejad has something to do with it.

What is REALLY amazing is that there are dumber people in Texas than Shiela Jackson Lee.

After all, they think she is an intelligent choice for Congress.

From what I understand the FBI is interested in Kenny Rodgers the former MSU player turned "agent". The FBI's involvement is not related to Newton.

The NCAA interviewed a Bama Grad Student (who was on MSU's coaching staff last year) as the possible source of all the leaks.

Since these revelations hit "Cam" has disappeared from the Fox Sports webpage. Coinkidink? Don't think so.

This is probably going to get interesting, but not in the way people has previously suspected.

The NCAA, as usual, could care less about anything but their own ego. Too busy waving the flag about how “they” are investigating this “scandal” to actual do the right thing and put the rumors to rest. I can’t believe it’s gotten as bad as it is right now.

MSU = Michigan or Mississippi State? (I ask because I’ve had the suspicion that Miss. State was behind a lot of this). I just think it’s outrageous that at this point, there’s anything to investigate. The NCAA needs to have consequences to their incompetence, too. They are quick to dish out penalties, they need a dose of their own medicine.

since her re-election is a foregone conclusion - barring some heavy redistricting - the local republicans should all agree to write in “a box of rocks” in 2012.

War Eagle!

that said, I think Miss. State Univ. did report the allegations back in January. Auburn's amazing season and a possible Heismann are likely behind some folks speaking up now, especially with the Reggie Bush debacle in mind. That and a healthy does of MSU sour grapes. A shame if any of it is true. NCAA should be ashamed that they didn't nip this when reported to them.

Thought so.

It’d be hilarious if Miss. State ends up being the one found to have committed wrong doing.

Agree. I believe they did report in January. I think regardless of any wrongdoing by ANYONE, the NCAA’s negligence in this matter should mean THEY forfeit the right to issue anything other than a humble apology to everyone involved.

Actually it will probably be Bama that comes off looking the worst, since the “unnamed source” for most of the allegations seems to be a Graduate Assistant on Sabin's staff.

Rush certainly sounds terribly distracted, rushed and repetitious today. Guess he does need time off.

I was trying to figure out if Johnson got re-elected. Saw some signs in yards for him over the summer. I just shook my head.
