What idiots.
Weather is not climate. There’s a couple feet less snow on the mountain in Greenland. It’s in England.

Sooo, after 700 years the Vikings will be able to move back? Brett Favre will come out of retirement to be there.

Bizarre, but, if you read the bible the sun has done weird stuff in the past. Very interesting.

“for the first time in history”?
Who was recording the date just 60 years ago not to mention 600 years ago...
Sounds like dust from some storm bent the sun’s rays and allowed a glimmer of light to be seen earlier than normal.

Sounds more like an axis shift and that would be a normal wobble that spinning objests do every so often, like a childs spinning top. Kind of hard to blame that on human activity so as to get rich and would also cause some climate changes.

My goodness, this is the height of stupidity!! Global warming is now responsible for a change in the orbit of the earth? Or more properly, is it actually responsible for the locals’ finally recognizing what the sun has been doing for time immemorial?

I don’t understand how orbital mechanics is altered by increased levels of CO2. It seems to me the cause and effect should be the other way around.

What they’re saying is that the horizon is lower. On land it isn’t possible but they’re talking about a horizon made of ice.
Personally I’d be thrilled.

The atmosphere lets you see stars about 6 degrees below the horizon. I wonder if something could affect that.

Based on this assumption, global warming has sped up the earths rotation and orbit around the sun.. if this continues I’ll be growing older faster.

Seems the same tactics are being used in desperation to promote Global Warming, or try to fan back to flame the spark that is still glowing of the AGW scam that the Leftists are using to denigrate the right over the Tucson shooting event.
