AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Anyone know about this? When I’m on FB this appears on the right column, saying ‘Rush Limbaugh want to know’, as if it’s a Rush Poll, which I doubted. Then I click and see it’s a CNN page with Rush’s pic and bio. Didn’t click the link to the rest.

What’s up with this?

I assume that CNN is using Rush in order to drive traffic to their website. I imagine it is being done without Rush’s knowledge.

business-wise, cloud computing may be good, but if I were a business, I would still be the gatekeeper to the data which exists on the cloud.

personal-wise, no way I would join up with cloud computing.

i see cloud computing as safer - its centralized

i was with a company that had a laptop stolen - it was an hr employee - the laptop had buttloads of employee data on it so they had to give all employees access to a credit bureau (this was before lifelock type businesses)

with cloud computing, that would not happen

cloud computing is NOT having all data everywhere (on all devices) - its having access to centralized data from any device - the devices do not hold the data

we are going back to mainframes - the ones that work, don't get hacked and don't get viruses

agree for business, but would still hold the cetralized distribution point on business premises under business control.

personal use....just not for me.

Sarah Palin. He said he would expand on that tomorrow. I’m tired of those who believe she can’t win. IMO, Palin is the most likely candidate to create a landslide victory in 2012.

for sure

if YOU allowed access to the corp data for an employee off premises, the employee could access it - but it would not reside on their device - so data theft would not be a problem

Could be possible, but remember that Rush goes through FR quite often, so you never know. :)

That’s what I was wondering. Rush can’t know about it.

Is this the best the Democrat Party has to offer? Obama and Weiner?

As others have opined, in the short term, Weiner has crippled the Democrat Party. It’s going to be difficult for them to attack Republicans on almost any issue, when with just one word, “WEINER,” Republicans can squelch their rhetoric. The Democrat Congresswomen and Senators must SO proud of their Weiner. He has become the new “face” of their party.
