Newt has gone crazy these past two weeks. He needs medication. Not endorsement from DeMint.

DeMint should endorse Perry.

I support Newt because he’s all that’s left. At the least he will draw a huge distinction between himself and Obama in debate.

Romney would get up on a stage and kiss Obama’s butt.

“Newt has gone crazy these past two weeks.”

Perry supporters should be the last people to call any candidate crazy.

Paul excluded.

I love you for posting this. Thank you very much.

Here is an email I sent to Amy Kremer, yesterday, one of the leaders of the tea party express - it’s another SC thing that people can do:

I sent the following email to Amy Kremer, of the Tea Party Express, asking them to endorse Newt before the SC Primary. I have asked many others to do the same, and many already have. Please consider sending the Tea Party Express an email asking them to endorse Newt soon.

The other links are for SC newspapers for those who would like to send Letters to the Editor.

It seems obvious if Romney is running ads against Newt, not Santorum, that he understands who the real threat to the Romney campaign is...

If you support Newt, it’s time to double down.

Dear Ms. Kremer

It’s difficult to get through a 24-hour news cycle these days without someone describing 2012 as the most important election of our lifetime, and even though it’s become something of a cliché, I really do believe 2012 is the most important election of my lifetime.

One only has to listen to Newt Gingrich in a simple town-hall format, during the course of a debate, or speaking on the trail, to understand he is the man with the record, the experience, the in-depth knowledge of Washington, DC, to hit the ground running on Day One, and to start turning things around immediately. Newt has talked about the Executive Orders he will sign into effect before the Obama’s plane lands in Chicago on Inauguration Day. It is precisely that kind of hit-the-ground-running aggression that gives me hope that maybe, just maybe, with Newt in the White House, we can actually begin to turn this country around and pull it back from the cliff, where Obama and his party have relentlessly driven it.

Many of us, even those who don’t support Newt, are very, very concerned about having another candidate requiring on-the-job training in the office of the Presidency. Things move too quickly, are too complex, for someone without an authoritative command of Washington, and how things work, to push through their agenda, our agenda, to restore this country to its foundations and original principles.

Newt has served in close proximity to the Presidency, walked the executive, as well as the legislative halls in DC, and he will be coming home, not showing up for freshman orientation; in an uncertain world, when seconds count, we can afford no less in our candidate, and offer our country no less.

Besides his competence and courage going forward, besides the fact Newt can handle the media, the Republican establishment and elite, without allowing them to thwart or distort his agenda, Newt won’t allow the DC machine, coupled with the national media, to define him, or defeat his agenda. Many of our less-experienced, less-conservative candidates will find it difficult to advance any agenda in DC, where gridlock is game one, and the political machinery will grind them to pieces.

Newt has led us to victory before in an overwhelmingly hostile environment, during times of great dispute, and he has prevailed again and again when all odds were against him and the Conservative Republicans he championed. Surely you know his 1994 Contract with America was one of many cornerstones of today’s conservative body of thought, and Newt delivered on his promises. And he will again.

It’s really this simple: in a time when events and institutions are careening out of control, when each new day brings complex problems to confound the wisest of men, we need the courage, and the experience of Newt Gingrich once again to re-establish the Founders’ vision for this country. Newt’s intellect, and his understanding of history are without compare. Albert Einstein once said, “The problems in the world today are so enormous they cannot be solved with the level of thinking that created them.” The people and the thinkers, who created this mess, can’t fix it. That is apparent. Newt Gingrich can.

Please consider, in the depth of your heart, your own heart, the heart of your organization, giving Newt your endorsement, and soon. There is simply no one, no other single candidate, who can step up, reach up, and stand in the gap for this country, and pull it back from the brink, the way Newt Gingrich can and will do… from Day One.

Thank you so much for reading this and considering Newt.

May God be with all of us.

At the Huckabee forum Newt Gingrich said he would eliminated the EPA....and replace it with an Environmental Solutions Agency.

The man is still clinging to the global warming scam which can only grow government.

And then there’s the immigration issue which is another government growth hormone.

Why would DeMint endorse someone who has a different view of the roll of government than he has?

I’d vote for DeMint.

I won’t vote for Newt and the BS line that because man is responsible for global warming, his activities must be controlled and taxed by a powerful government.

Newt blew it for me when he went on that fraudulent AGW tour with Nazi Pelosi.

I have to reluctantly agree with you. Newt is not the ideal candidate, but has become the default candidate. The libs fear him, and you can tell because of all the slime being tossed his way by the libs (gop libs included).... Newt at the top of the ticket, with santorum on deck to be the next batter ( or find a real conservative that is not well known, but has the “stuff” to make it with the right training)

Yeah...the mainstream media went nuts when Gingrich was up in the Iowa poll. They are terrified of him because he’s much smarter, and quicker than their lefty interviewers.

Did you see the job he did on Scott Pelley of CBS? He made him look like a five year old playing reporter.

Romney will surely lose in November and the country will be surrendered to the socialists. Newt is all that is between us and a 1960s style Great Britain.

Why would DeMint endorse someone who has a different view of the roll of government than he has?

Maybe because he did this, for starters...

Newt insisted on moving the Contract With America intact. He abolished committees and denied “old bulls” chairmanships. He insisted on using the majority to win conservative victories such as balancing budgets, achieving welfare reform and producing 11 million new jobs with tax cuts that spurred economic growth. He made some people unhappy when he pursued legislation that could win instead of pet bills that would have divided Republicans rather than uniting them.

And he negotiated with a Democratic president to get the conservative legislation being passed signed into law. Some Republicans were left unhappy in the wake of all of that activity — some of them are still complaining today.

Newt blew it for me when he went on that fraudulent AGW tour with Nazi Pelosi.

Maybe you could read this, and watch this, where Newt testifies before Congress against c&t the same day Al Gore testified for it:
