He really needs to pick the right person....I am ready to fire Obama, but a stellar VP choice would motivate folks.

Finding someone smarter than Biden and/or Hillary won't be difficult.

God help us. Even Bush knew who he wanted, without help.

She was my chief of staff when I was governor

His Chief of Staff while he was governor of Mass? Really? Oh well he is clearly not going to govern as a conservative so I won’t be voting for him anyway. Every sign that I see is that he will be as liberal if not worse as he was as Governor. I will be writing in Sarah Palin. There has been or will be nothing he can do to convince me to vote for him. Hopefully we can elect Sarah Palin in a write in. Romney will lose and lose badly against Obama. Polls are not accurate right now. Media will bash him the minute he is named. Go Newt our only hope in the primaries. If Newt does not win the primary then Sarah Palin our only hope in the General.

If it's another RINO gun banner he is wasting his effort.

Buying a life membership in the NRA doesn't clean up his rotten history.

No it won't. Screw Romney and the GOP-E he rode in on.

Gosh I can suggest the absolute best VP candidate, and I’ll do the job no charge.

In one step, Romney would with this selection ease the concerns of FReepers, he would bring into his camp the Tea Party, and set the stage for an electoral wipeout of historic proportion in November.

Romney really, really should nominate Sarah Palin.

Listen to this bastard, arrogantly assuming he is the Republican nominee. You know he's been told this by the powers that be, or he wouldn't talk this way.

Watch him pick some lib-ass-kissing RINO like Lindsey Graham as VP.

Thomas Dewey lives. Find another Earl Warren to join the ticket and history will indeed repeat itself.

No, sorry. There is no VP pick that would motivate me to vote for him. He is Obama-Lite. He has a record to prove he is pro gay, pro abortion, pro taxes, anti gun ... on and on. He is “central moderate” ... meaning he a socialist leaning right in hopes of getting my vote. You don’t have to do much research to find out who he is. To vote for “the Republican version of liberalism” is to vote for what we do not believe in. I played the game once voting for McCain ... Won’t happen again. Don’t give me a TOKEN conservative VP. I’m not buying. I’m 70 years old and have voted in every election in my lifetime... But this country is lost and I won’t vote FOR sealing its fate.

I think there are three criteria:

1) should help bring voters to the ticket

2) MUST be conservative

3) CANNOT be one of our "critical conservatives" such as conservative senators (Paul, Rubio, Johnson) or a strategic semi-conservative governor, such as Christie.

Pick someone from the House, or a governor from a "safe" state.

"You find what you look for, you know." -- Stephen Sondheim, Company

"Personnel is policy." -- Morton Blackwell Tapping a "moderate" RINO to lead his VP search means that Romney is going to emerge with another "moderate" Establishment Rockefeller Republican like himself. They plan to go "safe", not for a game changer -- having completely forgotten how Sarah boosted McCain's ticket four years ago.

So you'll wind up pairing the "progressive" Romney with another "progressive" like Pawlenty or someone of that ilk. And that's not a winnable ticket.

But this election won't be won, it will be lost. It looks like Mitt's taking the necessary steps already to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory -- like a typical Republican.

Is there any way to stop this guy? His nomination will be a disaster for the GOP -- and more importantly, for conservatism and the Constitution.

He could pick John the Baptist and it wouldn’t move me. I’ll not support Romney period.

NOTE: Romney is USING his staff from his governor years! Those are the same people who were his counselors when he thought it was just fine to have $50 abortions, gay marriages, and government imposed health care.

How many of his old Massachusetts brain trust is helping either overtly or covertly his campaign?

This is terrible news for conservatives who thought they “might” be able to support Romney.

Read the handwriting on the wall.

Smell the coffee!

"She was my chief of staff when I was governor," Romney said

Then she is just as guilty as he is.

Romney should pull out. He is a saboteur - a designated
loser for his friend Soros.
