I’ve given very serious thought about legalization the last few years. A friend suggested I read Theodore Dalrymple’s article against it. I did and found it very convincing. It’s worth a look - see link. This Dalrymple is a thinker and writer of the very top chop. And his prose is on par with H.L. Mencken’s who was the greatest prose writer and stylist of all time. I’ve since purchased a half dozen of Dalrymple’s books. They put me in mind of Thomas Sowell, Mencken, and the great Dr. Johnson.
