You gys do know ther is more than one island to the state of Hawaii? The Big Island has very few people compared to Oahu, where Obunga's BC (if there iever was one) would be kept. That is well over a hundred miles away.
That said, I had just changed the water filter for the refrigerator when my wife said we just had an earthquake. I felt not a thing, heard nothing. Then a few minutes later heard the rumbling of another one, a 2.7 down at Kilauea. Just life on a volcano......
It is good to live on a pile of solid lava rock, the shock just passes through with little to no shaking, unlike those areas of loose soil.

We own 2 acres in Hawaiian Paradise Park and about 7 years ago was planning on building on it and moving there. Long story why it didn’t happen but I am always regretting that it didn’t.
