Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson met with Sarah Palin last week.
What’s not to love?
Phil Robertson blew off liberal journalist Barbara Walters to go duck hunting.
CNS News reported:
Many celebrities look forward to a Barbara Walters interview. Not so with Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson. He skipped the interview to go duck hunting.
Radar Online is reporting that Robertson bailed on Walter’s ‘Most Fascinating People’ interview last month for the ABC network.
Walters talked with other members of the Robertson family, and Phil’s wife, Miss Kay, reportedly told her that the 67-year old founder of Duck Commander would rather shoot ducks than do the interview.
Ooh, good one!

After dropping out of Louisiana Tech University after three quarters, Robertson was drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War.[3] During the war, his mother sent him a set of Tupperware cups, two boots, and two jars of jalapeno peppers in each boot, due to the fact that he loves jalapeno peppers.[4][5] These gifts are his greatest treasures, and he is rarely seen without one of his plastic cups drinking iced tea, which he treats with equal importance.[4] Si retired from the Army in 1993.[6]

I’m cofident that the Playmates would hear God’s Plan of Salvation explained to them by Phil, and be given an opportunity to accept Christ as their Savior while waiting for the ducks to show up.
Si is something else .... knew about his Army experience. On another show, two of Miss Kay’s daughters-in-law were trying to make her an apron that would keep flour off of her boobs, which are not inconsequential. They were struggling until Si came in, sat down at the sewing machine, and started sewing up a storm .... said he learned to sew in the Army, along with many other skills. As silly as the apron scenario seems, it was a glimpse into a different, very competent Si rather than the half-crazy redneck uncle he appears to be on the show. Love the plastic tea cup story .... hadn’t heard that one.

Phil showed Bawawa where she stands in the scheme of things, and the rest of the family got got good positive exposure.
In a saner world BabaWawa would’ve lost any credibility she had when, during the course of the infamous interview with Michael Jackson, she didn’t take him to task when he made that remark about sharing his bed with children
I didn’t see/hear the interview, so I couldn’t vouch for that, but I’ll take your word for it.
Is duck hunting season year round in Louisiana?
Like when he took his 3 grndchildren out to teach them how to be a red neck wife...don’t remember if it was fishing and gutting it or duck. Just those yukky things girls don’t like to do at their age...
But one of the test was when Ziva was talking to the guys on NCIS and said her father would take the kids out into the middle of the woods and tell them to find their way home..teaches independence cause he left them there and meant it when he said now find your way home....
