I am not sure Americans have changed their minds so much as their minds have been changed for them.

Would a collapse of America affect the O’Reilly Factor? Would anyone notice it in the throes of a civil war?

I’m not that sure that that poll is accurate about American attitudes toward immigration. The Republicans who campaigned against present immigration policies won.

Christianity's Decline In America Could Lead To Collapse Like Roman Empire

Hell of an analogy. Rome fell as Christianity ascended in Europe.

I don’t know if this is a decline in Christians or a decline in those claiming to be. I now live in the south and there are a LOT of folks here who say they are Christian but don’t have a clue what it actually means.

People I know are just as God-fearing as they used to be, they go to Church, practice their religion, we just don't talk about it ‘out and about’ like we used to...

As far as other religions, I don't see much difference than what we do...other than the muslims, they are always blabbing about something or other....

Or more generally, the abandonment of traditional Judeo-Christian values, there are even atheists who understand the consequences of this.

That’s the goal of the left. And when it collapses, the left will rush in to set up their form of government.

BORe uses an AP poll telling us a majority of Americans favor "pathway to citizenship" for illegals. He is losing it.

Any student of history knows that when a nation turns inward toward the pursuit of individual gratification, the country is in trouble. Rome — the best example. The citizens there ultimately rejected sacrificing for their republican — for their republic, I should say — and the empire collapsed.

BillO is right there. I also noticed that one of the innovations from 4th century Rome they're quietly pushing is allowing illegals into the military. Rome tried staffing the legions with barbarians near the end, and that didn't work out so well for them..

As El Rushbo pointed out(yesterday),the only”Christian Churches”that are seeing a decline are those that have welcomed radical changes in doctrine, etc. The”Fundamentalist Christians”are Hanging Tough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, for Rome, the rise of Christianity was bad and led to their collapse. But for us the decline of Christianity is bad and will lead to our collapse.

Maybe Christianity doesn't have anything to do with it one way or the other?

O’Reilly needs to pay some close attention to his own skewed version of Christianity and set himself right. It’s hard to believe the nonsense he spews as a “cradle Catholic”/ “cultural Christian”.

If BOR’s numbers in the talking points were accurate they show that Muslims have more than doubled in this country since 2007.

I am surprised Mr. “Looking out for you” didn’t mention it.
