It's been 4 days since the SCOTUS Gay Marriage Ruling. Where is Trump? [Vanity]
Posted on 06/30/2015 3:48:21 PM PDT by SoConPubbie
So, the Supreme Court ruled/legislated from bench, unconstitutionally, on June 26th. Here it is June 30th, and Donald Trump, the man known for speaking his mind, most of the time in a politically incorrect manner, has been silent on this ruling.
4 days!
Ostensibly, he wants to be President of the United States. He has also stated he believes in traditional marriage, and weakly stated that gay marriage, "wasn't his thing".
Since the oath of office for POTUS includes the following:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
When are we going to hear from "The Donald" how he will fight against this unconstitutional ruling by SCOTUS; this unconstitutional legislative action by SCOTUS? Or is he another one of those cowards that state that the since the Supreme Court has ruled on this matter, it is the rule of law?
Time to come out from under the bed on this issue Donald!
If he truly wants to be the Leader of the Free World and if he truly wants to gain the votes of conservative voters to gain that position through the GOP he needs to lead on this issue. It is extremely important to conservatives.
Mr. Trump, Man-up and lead on all issues near and dear to conservatives, or just go away.

These posters who are obsessed in attacking other candidates are under the delusion that it will attract other posters to their candidate which I assume is Ted Cruz. The effect is just the opposite. If Ted Cruz supporters are obsessed on attacking others, what does it say about Ted Cruz? I hope he is nothing like these posters.
So, being the honest, objective person you are, entropy12, I am sure you have made the same statement before to the dozen or so posters "attacking" Ted Cruz, right?

It's been 4 days since the SCOTUS Gay Marriage Ruling. Where is Trump? [Vanity] Suing Univision and NBC over dropping his beauty pageants. The man has his priorities after all.

You got that exactly right! What is this crazy obsession of forming a circular firing squad? I don’t think Ted Cruz is anything like them. He has been cordial with all other candidates.

I think Trump doing what Trump is doing is NOT hurting our best candidate that we have, my Sen Ted Cruz.
I don’t obsess over Trump’s positions, right now, because he’s giving it to the lefties, in his unabashed, un-PC style.
Cruz seems to have no problem with it, either, and has complimented Trump for standing up for what is right. In fact, I think he’s grabbing a bowl of popcorn, and enjoying the show.

This is just more of your attack on Trump in a ridiculous attempt to discredit him as a candidate.
Before he announced you never brought up his name like this.

And how will you feel if, by setting on the sidelines on an issue like this, Trump is able to take enough of the primary voters to keep Cruz from the debates?

I have never initiated attack on any candidate, period. Only when some one attacks candidates of my choice, I respond by pointing out that their candidate is not perfect either.
NO CANDIDATE IS PERFECT! Only God is perfect. As a good Christian, I am sure you know that. Do not worry about Trump so much. Trump has not attacked Ted Cruz, that I have noticed. I would much prefer if you stuck to pointing out details of what is good about Cruz. By attacking other candidates, you are turning off others to consider supporting Ted Cruz.

“Not a shill, but I am advocating for a better POTUS candidate than Donald Trump: “
Try advocating for the issues as well like Trump is so that Cruz might learn something and latch on. Cruz’s support for the massive H-1B program to bring in foreign workers to replace Americans would be a nice start.

Do you HONESTLY see that happening? Is that it? You fear that could actually happen?!
Trump is getting the muck and mire stirred up...getting down and doing the dirty work...Cruz is flying WAY up there, overseeing the big picture.
