GLENN BECK: TEA PARTIERS WHO SUPPORT DONALD TRUMP ARE RACIST
Breitbart ^ | 9/15/2015 | Breitbart TV

Posted on 09/15/2015 12:36:58 PM PDT by Viennacon

On Tuesday, talk radio host Glenn Beck accused the Tea Party supporters of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump of being racists.

While he questioned whether Trump’s supporters are genuine Tea Partiers, Beck said of them, “If you were a Tea Party person, then you were lying. You were lying. It was about Barack Obama being black. It was about him being a Democrat.” Although he later identified fellow talk show host Sean Hannity as a Tea Party supporter who thinks Trump is “a great guy,” Beck said that he simply disagrees with Hannity about Trump.

Beck’s comments came as part of a discussion of Trump’s rally in Texas yesterday before a sold-out crowd of 20,000. Beck stated, “The media’s making this look like [Trump’s supporters are] Tea Party people. I don’t think these are Tea Party people who are following him. Some of them may be, but I think these — I mean, you can’t — if you were a Tea Party person, then you were lying. You were lying. It was about Barack Obama being black. It was about him being a Democrat, because this guy is offering you many of the same things, as shallow as the same way. If you said to me that it bothered you about his past, you said to me, ‘Hey, what about his relationship with Jeremiah Wright? What about what he’s done here, here, and here?’ You’re not bothered by this guy, and it’s exactly the same thing.”

There are good reasons for conservatives to oppose Donald the Democrat.

There are good reasons for conservatives to support Donald the Democrat, as posted often and elsewhere on FR, IF he brings many Constitutional conservatives into high-ranking official positions they cannot otherwise attain.

Are you saying ‘name calling’ isn’t the same as a cogent argument?

And they take their marching orders from a Democrat.

IF he brings them into office at all.

Of course, if Donald the Democrat had a record that indicates any kind of consistent conservative thought, that would be different. Since he doesn’t, I guess you’ll just have to take his word for it.

Glenn Beck accused the Tea Party supporters of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump of being racists.

I believe in individualism, and free will, and don't believe in collectivism and determinism, and I believe in evaluating each person individually, so I am not a racist. I also believe in the traditional values of the Founding Fathers, so I am a Tea Partier. But, I still support Trump.

No offense

If you’re southern with any backbone Beck became obvious really quick

He’s like a lot of Freepers though

Excuses his conservatism by the sins of Dixie

IF he brings them into office at all.

Have you worked out a better plan to have actual conservatives placed in high government positions.

("Democrat" was not always a curse word as you use it. Perhaps one day, it may not be used in your cursing again.)

That very well could be the issue.

I think he is mentally ill and he’s taking a mental dive. Those close to him better pay attention or they could lose him to suicide.

I think I’ll tune into the Blaze this afternoon to watch the train wreck. It should be almost as entertaining as the slow motion derail of the Nixon administration.

He sounds like everyone we despise in the establishment. I don’t think Breitbart was misquoting him at all. Glenn was starting to lose himself when he kept trying to claim he was libertarian. You could tell he was starting to hate discussing social issues and immigration then.

Not long after, came out for homosexual rights when he thought it was convenient because he was “libertarian”.
He seems to have switched opinions after the Indiana bill passed. But the guy is confusing to follow. I was rather unhappy those years he kept going off about being libertarian. I stayed because he still made some sense. Not now. He lost it.

Wow, he’s really melting down.

Maybe it’s more coherent when you’re hear it, but the transcript makes no sense.

“Beck is desperate for attention. His 15 minutes of fame are long gone.”

Yes. He’s now into his fifteen minutes of lame.

He fired Andrew Willkow

Seriously? I was disappointed when Wilkow went to Beck's show. That and Mike Church turning into a Ron Paul freak helped me decide to cut my SiriusXM subscription.

“Nobody knows what you’re even getting at”

That is strange. Did you take a poll? I was very clear. I am getting cranky with people assigning a purity test for those of us who are Trump supporters because of the SPECIFICS he campaigns on. What he says clearly, (and he has been saying it for years, and writing about it for years), not what I think he says, as is becoming another dodge by certain detractors.

We have voted for people cycle after elections cycle who campaigned as conservatives and forgot all about it after the election. There is no other candidate who can look you in the eye and say his finger prints are not on any of the insanity that is going on, to borrow a saying from Rush.

My point being, again, we have no conservative leaders in the GOP. Why not crawl over them for a change.
