Ben Carson says a Muslim should not be president.
But his key adviser, Armstrong Williams, has, unbeknownst to the good doctors supporters, been praising Louis Farrakhan even urging Chicago to hire Nation of Islam security guards to fight crime.
Quite the Farrakhan aficionado, Williams had promised to broadcast his radio show live from the hate mongers 20th anniversary Million Man March last Saturday, recalling to the Washington Times that, It was a moving experience [in 1995], so I want to be there again.
In a little-noticed Times column the day after the march, To Curb Chicago Violence Bring in Nation of Islam, Williams argued that only NOI toughs can help stem the tide of killings there and temper other inner-city pathologies by fostering greater self-respect among residents...

I'm surprised by Armstrong Williams. I haven't seen any discussion on this information here.

Armstrong Williams...
This doesn’t fit my image of Mr. Williams at all.
Has something happened to him?
This seems like a 180 to me.
If Carson buys off on this, bye bye...
He’ll be at 2% in a week.

Throw this on to the pile of other reports that indicate Carson should not go anywhere near the office of POTUS.

It's interesting that one of Carson's perceived weaknesses is he's a dilettante, and that the rejoinder is “he'll appoint good people.” It seems this isn't the first idiotic statement by one of his employees.

Didn’t this guy used to be a substitute host on major conservative talk shows?
To: DoughtyOne
Nah, Carson’s support, like Trump's, has little to do with what he says or does.

I have a friend who knew Armstrong Williams in college. Armstrong is well known for running his mouth. I think it came out wrong. I cannot believe Armstrong is actually for funding Farrakhan. Would have to see it in context.

Your article is even newer. It probably deserves a thread of it’s own. Some of the comments in it are even more disturbing than the article I have.

For those who already know who and what Farrakhan is, this will be a dealbreaker. I was never going to vote for him.

I am compelled by experience and intuition after doing this so long to keep digging...

Farrakhan is radioactive.
Tying yourself to him is the kiss of death.
I’d say his negatives must be close to 80%.

Nah, Carsons support, like Trump's, has little to do with what he says or does. Whereas Bush, Fiorina, Rubio's lack of support does? Funny the people that talk to the people, Trump, Carson and Cruz, of things they care about get the support and all the rest just draw flies.

Carson, himself, is already on the record as having high praise and regard for Al Sharpton. I don’t trust Ben at all!
To: Mastador1
Fair enough but Carson is a political neophyte.
Smart guy but a neophyte
