The British government has suspended all flights to the UK from the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh after declaring it believes the Russian plane that crashed over Sinai may have been brought down by an explosive device.
It is the first statement by any country that it believes a bomb or other device could have downed the flight, as Russian and Egyptian authorities investigate.

The prime minister’s spokeswoman said: “While the investigation is still ongoing we cannot say categorically why the Russian jet crashed. But as more information has come to light we have become concerned that the plane may well have been brought down by an explosive device.
Interesting.
May? MAY?
Bombs and muzzies go together like chips and salsa, hands and gloves, milk and cookies.
There is no mystery here. All thats left to do is identify the bombers.

Security source: The intelligence that prompted the UK government take this decision did not come from the wreckage of the plane.
From RT
British PM David Cameron and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi have had a phone conversation about the Russian plane crash in Sinai, Downing Street said Wednesday. The two officials “agreed it was important not to prejudge the investigation,” but with the cause of the crash still uncertain, they decided “it would be prudent to ensure the tightest possible security arrangements at Sharm el-Sheikh airport,” the statement said.
Earlier, the Egyptian leader had said that speculation that Islamic State might be behind the Russian plane crash were “false propaganda” aimed at damaging Egypt’s image, the Daily Telegraph reported.
LOL
Didn’t our regime come right out and say it wasn’t isis? Then I knew it was.

The Egyptian government doth protest too much about this not being a terrorist attack. Would be bad for tourism I guess.
Had not thought of that.
Thanks for the link. I just love the British accent. I was surprised to learn that the feeling is not mutual. When I visited London I learned that they aren’t really crazy about Americans. Not a severe bias, just mild. But I think I can speak for our side, most Americans like Brits, especially their accent.
Yes, many around the world do not like us.
Just because all airline disasters are caused by muslimes doesn’t mean all muslimes cause disasters. They all support fund, and applaud it, but they don’t all cause it.
Ready for this:
The Russian holiday jet crash is likely to have been caused by an explosion in one of the engines, it was revealed today.
Sources in Egypt say this conclusion came from initial analysis of the black box recorders and observations at the crash site.
Keep in mind it’s the Egyptians saying this.

Here's some interesting info:
Forensic experts said passengers sitting at the rear of the Metrojet plane had 'shrapnel injuries', were peppered with metal particles and suffered 90 per cent burns after 'a blast' blew off the tail wing.....BUT no bomb explosive residual were on the bodies.
..... Passengers at the 'back of the plane' died from blast wounds, but those 'at the front of the aircraft' who were killed by chest and stomach injuries, multiple bones fractures, and torn inner organs, but had no sign of burning......
US satellite surveillance detected a 'heat flash' over the Egyptian desert moments before the jet crashed, indicating a bomb or a fuel tank blowing up.....But there was 'no heat trail' from the ground, suggesting it was not hit by a missile fired from below so speculation that this plane was brought down by a missile would be off the table.
Experts from BP will take samples of aviation fuel to determine its quality and check it for the presence of likely impurities....would be able to tell if there was a fuel explosion.
No photographs have been released yet of the aircraft's rudder 'which broke off' from the tail, pictured....
