ISIS takes flight: Terror group training pilots at airbase in Libya
ISIS is training pilots at an airbase in Libya, using small plane left over from the Qaddafi regime and at least one flight simulator in an effort experts fear could lead to aerial attacks targeting Europe, according to regional analysts.
The terrorist group, which is bulking up its footprint in the chaotic north African nation even as airstrikes by Russia, the U.S. and other western allies pound its headquarters in Syria, is functioning unfettered in the Mediterranean city of Sirte. Given that Sirte is just a short flight from mainland Europe – Italy is closest of all - the development could mean ISIS is closing in on a bid to take its terrorism to a frightening new level with a multitude of high-profile potential targets within range.
We know that the jihadists are trying every means to hurt the West, and if they can blow themselves up in cars they can certainly do the same with airplanes; this would not be a great novelty and is in line with their thinking and purpose to do as much harm as possible," Col. Jacques Neriah, the retired former deputy head for assessment of Israeli Military Intelligence and an expert on North African affairs, told Fox News.com.

“Strangely enough, you only need to Google for a few minutes to locate a place where you can purchase a fighter jet flight simulator cockpit for the bargain basement price of a quarter million dollars. Sure, that is outside the budget of most of your friends who just want to play Desert Eagle on their Playstation 4, but it is a drop in the bucket to ISIS.
Granted, a simulator is not going to prepare you to just hop into the cockpit and be an expert, but it will give you a huge leg up when the time comes to actually take the stick. And now it seems that ISIS is onto the idea. If these guys are contained then I would hate to see what they do when they are really cut loose.”

ISIS Takes Control of Airport in Sirte, Libya

Islamic State (ISIS) forces raided the civilian airbase Al-Qardabiya, near the northern city of Sirte Libya, Thursday, May 28, 2015. The 166 Battalion militia was forced to withdraw after a request to Tripoli for backup was not answered. Fajr Libya or “Libyan Dawnâ€, an alliance of Muslim Brotherhood-linked militias and other jihadist groups (including Al Qaeda-linked Ansar Al-Sharia), had originally seized control of the air base in August of 2014, and had maintained control until recently ousted.
Al-Qardabiya was not the only source of aviation that Libyan Dawn controlled. In August of 2014, Libyan Dawn seized Tripoli International Airport. The airport, previously controlled by two anti-Islamist militias, had actually been closed up until Libyan Dawn took over. One of the primary concerns of the Tripoli airport incident revolved around 11 commercial airplanes that were reported missing after the group took over. Considering Libyan Dawn took over the airport in August, many became worried that these missing aircraft could be used in some sort of plan or attack on September 11th. Back in March 2015, Libyan Ambassador to the UAE Aref Ali Nayed warned of just such an attack scenario.
The Islamic States seizure of the Al-Qardabiya airbase will further raise concern among many regarding ISIS increasing presence in Libya and especially about what that presence means for neighboring countries. Italy, a country approximately 1100 miles from Libya, is particularly concerned. Islamic States rhetoric targeting Italy has only increased with its increasing strength in Libya. As previously discussed here on the Free Fire Blog, Italys proximity to Libya poses a number of issues as the North Africa state has descended into chaos.

Perhaps he could draw on some advice form the beast responsible for this mess - the female beast, that is. The other one - in the WH - prefers not to be bothered with it. Just read a bit of the Quran for the first time ever. I started around the verse that says someone who kills one person kills mankind or something like that which sounds good ripped out of context. The context is that if you sin as a Muslim (certain sins that are not well-defined) you have to be killed or go kill unbelievers. It’s really quite clear what motivates killers like those in California, it is jihad driven by fear and guilt.
There is such a wealth of incidents/events that can be brought up in debates to sink Hillary for good - forever!!! To the point where we never have to hear her voice or see her face ever again UNLESS it’s on trial for treason along with the creep in the WH!

A former U.S. congressman urged Attorney General Loretta Lynch to arrest him after she warned on Thursday that her office would take a more aggressive approach to those spewing anti-Muslim rhetoric.
I think Islam has a real freaking problem, alright? Former Illinois Rep. Joe Walsh said in a video posted to his Facebook page. There is a cancer in Islam, and if they are not going to learn to assimilate, I do not want them in this country.
