Regarding Cruz: Patriots Can’t Have it Both Ways
Lloyd Marcus.com ^ | January 23, 2016 | Lloyd Marcus

Posted on 01/24/2016 10:14:49 AM PST by GodGunsGuts

Some patriots say they will not vote for Cruz because he has alienated too many people in DC and will be unable to make deals. But wait a minute. You complained that Republicans do not stand up for We the People and make too many deals.

Well what do you think has alienated Cruz in DC? Cruz has faithfully stood up for We the People, unwilling to betray us with back room deals. You cannot have it both ways folks.

We finally have a true general and some suggest mutiny. I would rather fight side by side with our conservative version of Patton, Ted Cruz.

God bless, Lloyd Marcus, The Unhyphenated American

Many of us howled like scalded dogs when the Democrats proposed putting a fraud in the White House who held himself out as a Kenyan and was steeped as a boy in I-slam in an Indonesia madrassa.

Ted Cruz, an otherwise honorable and highly qualified, conservative candidate, who claims to be a “constitutional originalist” candidly admits that he was born in Canada ...

Right on the money, GGG—”You can’t have it both ways, folks.”

” - But in the end, it is cruz that is imploding. - “

Senator Cruz cannot make DEALS.
Out with the Constitution in with the DEAL MAKERS. We LOVE YOU Mitch, Donald, Nanci - You represent the BEST deal Amerika will get

The fact that FR, for the first time in weeks, is not drowning in “Trump sucks” articles shows that the Cruz people understand this.

There were a few zots here yesterday, that might have sent a message to chill out a little.

I will vote for either Cruz or Trump, whichever one gets the nomination. How about you?

And once Cruz is destroyed, who do you think is next? Trump is no saint and has a highly questionable history with regards to positions on certain Constitutional issues.

Most recently that the Feds are better stewards of the millions of acres of federally held land in the West. Implying that the states are incapable of managing these IAW the 10th.

He’s also very shaky on the 2nd Amendment...supports an “assault weapons” ban.

Typical circular firing squad...knock down the candidates one by one until the vote is split or the marxists win.

Republicans are really quite stupid...

Not necessarily. I’ve been called those names here by many.

I myself don’t care what people call me. But some people do. Why can’t we disagree without being so miserable?

I don’t see his apparent anti 10th amendment tendencies are going to be a big winner in the south either.

Take your butt hurt elsewhere. You backed a losing cruz/beck ticket, get over it.

I see that risk swinging both ways, and it would behoove us all to temper our language. Things will shake out, and nothing good comes from alienating those who share a “small constitutional government” dream.

Or sent a message that the Cruz side is not welcome.

Wha-what?!? A Cruz thread and the first ones here are the leading trumpeter swans screaming “Cruz sucks”? The very thing that they bitch and moan about trump threads? Nah, couldn’t be.

Pot meet kettle.

Does your mother know you speak like that? - Are you in charge of the Gulag? or the concentration camp?
