Are you kidding me? By the mid-20’s all the Jews had been purged. Look what Stalin did to Trotsky. That played out on every level. My father and his family had to flee in 1926 because it was becoming impossible to live there. My grandfather had a little store in a medium sized city in the Ukraine and Jews were easy targets for roving bands of cossacks, with the government looking the other way. You seem smart and well-read. If you think Jews were responsible for the horrors of the Stalinist murders, when they were actually among the most salient victims, then you aren’t reading the right books. Again, this is something I know from my family, in addition to what I’ve read.
